Monkey Business

I spent hours just to see these beautiful Monkeys swing from branch to branch. One of the monkeys striked a pose. I took this picture while walking around Animal kingdom in Orlando Florida. They are very happy animals. The way they interact with each other is in a very playful manner. I watched them pick bugs off of one another. One minute they are having fun and playing tag with each other and the next minute they seem like they are yelling at each other. The Monkeys are a crowd pleaser, and the main event. They know how to stick together. They are very smart and have some human like qualities.

A young Antelope is so beautiful!

Antelope

She seems so shy, She hid in the bushes for a while. Her mother wasn't to far behind from. Something caught her attention on her butt. (Lol) She is so beautiful. It looks like she is standing in the shade. I also took this picture with my brand new Iphone12. The camera is amazing. These creatures are not safe in the wild. Antelopes must always be on the lookout for danger, as they make a hearty meal for many predators—leopards, lions, civets, hyenas, wild dogs, cheetahs, and pythons—depending on species and location. Large birds of prey may take young calves. But antelope do have some ways to keep safe. They grow horns and use them for self defense. I often get Deer's and antelopes confused with one another, because they look so much alike.

Hey Mr. and Mrs. Hippo

Hippopotamus

This was an easy picture to take. This couple looked as if they just had the longest day. Wake up!!!! Hippos spend a lot of there time under water. Most Hippos spend up to 16 hours a day submerged in large bodies of water, including lakes to keep their huge thick bodies cool. Small Hippos are good swimmers, and can hold their breath underwater for up to five minutes. An adult hippo can hold underwater breath for up to 30 minutes. … The hippos vocalize both on the ground and in the water, and are the only mammals to call both. The hippos have a hard fissure on the upper lip and are a bit flush around the ears and on the tail. They are big enough to walk or stand on the lake floor, or lie in the shallows. They have big eyes and nostrils that are located high on their heads, which allows them to see and breathe while under water. These sea animals can be very dangerous as well. so please stay out of their way.

MR. Giraffe was so sweet to me. Even got to feed one with my bare hands.

Giraffe

I love massive Animals. I also took this picture with my iphone 12 camera. He is so tall and stands as if he is boe-legged. Giraffes are the tallest mammals on Earth. Did you know that they can run as fast as 35 miles an hour over short distances, or cruise at 10 mph over longer distances. A fun fact I learned is that they have 3 hearts. That is mind blowing. There is a systemic (main) heart. Two lesser hearts pump blood to the gills where waste is discarded and oxygen is received. They work like the right side of the human heart. Although my favorite animal is a Elephant, I love a tall Giraffe. They are very strong as well, a giraffe can kick in any direction and in a manner of ways, and its kick can not only kill a lion, but has even been known to decapitate (behead) it. That my friend is what i call strength. I also hear that they have more than one brain.. definitely got to research that one.
