With the continuous development of human science and technology, the scope of human exploration of the earth is gradually expanding. Humans have lived on the earth for millions of years, but human beings have the ability to explore the mysterious areas of the earth for only a few hundred years, so many places on the earth are still unknown to human beings.

Speaking of the more mysterious areas on the earth, these areas generally have something in common, that is, there are few signs of human activity and the environment is harsh. The Amazon River is also a relatively mysterious or dangerous area, but there are also signs of human activities in the Amazon River, but the local people are more "ruled", after all, the Amazon River is still very dangerous.

Bridges are usually built on rivers with human activities for people to move, but bridges are rarely seen on related rivers in the Amazon. According to today's human technology, it can be said that it is not difficult to build bridges. Even rivers with large spans can be built by humans, but the reason why the Amazon River has not been built is more because the Amazon River superior.

Why are people afraid to go deep into the Amazon? Are there really "crazy" monsters in the water?

The reason why the Amazon River is dangerous can generally be expressed from two points. The first point is the water flow of the Amazon River, and the second point is the creatures in the Amazon River. Let's start with the first point. According to statistics and surveys, the Amazon River is the river with the largest water flow, the largest basin and the most tributaries in the world. Because the region is hot and rainy all year round, the river is also relatively fast, so that many ships usually just pass by because it is easy to capsize.

The Amazon River is dangerous, in fact, more because of the creatures in the river. When it comes to the Amazon River, people first think of creatures such as piranhas and anacondas. Piranhas can be seen from the literal meaning of their horror. Piranhas belong to piranhas and usually like to live in groups, so many times piranhas will attack other creatures in groups. Piranhas are cruel by nature. In 1981, many people were killed by piranhas, so many people fear the Amazon River and have a lot to do with piranhas.

The second most dangerous creature in the Amazon River is the anaconda. Anaconda is a type of snake. Generally, people are very afraid of snakes. Therefore, when they mention anacondas, many people show fear on their faces. The anaconda is very long, some reaching a length of tens of meters. It can be said that people have no resistance against anacondas. However, the anaconda has a relatively gentle temperament and generally does not actively attack fishermen, so it is the best policy to leave as soon as possible after encountering an anaconda.

In addition to piranhas and anacondas, there are many dangerous creatures living in the Amazon River Basin. After all, the tropical rainforest climate is a "paradise" for creatures. Crocodiles live in wetlands and freshwater areas all year round, and the Amazon River is a good habitat for crocodiles, so crocodiles are also one of the dangerous creatures in the Amazon River. In addition, there are various mosquito creatures in the Amazon River Basin, and this creature is likely to carry bacteria or viruses, so it is also very dangerous to humans.

Why is there no bridge over the Amazon River?

In fact, regarding the construction of bridges in the Amazon River, in addition to the characteristics of dangerous creatures and water flow in this area, the geological environment in this area is not suitable for bridge construction. Usually bridges need good supports. If there is no hard geological structure, the bridge will easily collapse. The Amazon River Basin is mostly sandy or muddy, so this kind of geology is not suitable for building bridges. In addition, there are few human activities in this area, and the value of building bridges is not high. Therefore, after weighing the pros and cons, the Amazon River will not choose to build a bridge.
