There are no words to describe the horrors and hell that you are facing right now. What is happening to you should not be happening to anyone. For what it is worth, you are in every thought, prayer, and best wish from myself and everyone else I know. I can’t help but admire how brave you all are being with bullets flying, bombs going off, and being rushed away at a second’s notice. War is horrible and good for absolutely nothing. (Yes, just like the song.)

I have several hopes for this situation. One of my hopes is that you all are safe where you are and that your loved one are with you. My other hope is that this horrible war will come to an end very soon and you all can go home to reclaim what rightfully belongs to you. You have every right to have a home and to be free of any danger that comes your way. Once all this hell is over, you will be stronger, tougher, and better than ever.

The world should be giving you all a break and show you an abundance of kindness that you rightfully deserve. Although you are facing hatred, genocide, and hell from a neighbor, I ask that you still hold on to your compassion as well. This is what will help you through what you are facing. Keep faith that this will get better and the good neighbors around you will help you with whatever you need.

Make no mistake just because you have altruïsm, doesn’t mean that you don’t have the right to fight for your freedom. We all have to do that in varying degrees but in this case we all have to fight for yours. Don’t be afraid to stand up and say, “NO! This is not right!” We all have a right to live, grow, breathe, make our own choices, and just be ourselves. If anyone tries to take this away from anyone of us, then we have the obligation to stand up and get our fight on!

It's hard to go up against bullies but just know that you are not fighting alone. You have a whole world who will stand behind and beside you. We will send you whatever we can whether it is our prayers, a share of our homes, or supplies to help you get back what is rightfully yours. Whatever you need, you just let all of us out here know. We want to help and will try to do whatever we can to come to your aide.

It’s unimaginable what you all are going through. I wish there was something more that I could do than write a letter of apology. I’m donating blood but that still feels like it is not enough. You can rest assured that I will continue to do all that I can for you. What I do know is that things will get better. In my heart, I know this.

I wish I knew what more to say about this. As I have said earlier there is no words to describe what is going on nor is there an apology good enough to fix what you all must be feeling right now. Never-the-less you have many people in your corner. We won’t give up on you, and don’t give up on yourselves. Your freedom is there for the taking. You just have to fight for it but stay safe as well. Take care and you’re in all of our prayers.

Sincerely.
