While proper irrigation is undeniably important, treating water as a universal cure-all ignores the complex environmental pressures that urban trees face every single day. The Hidden Crisis of Soil Compaction
Out in a natural forest, the ground operates as a spongy, living ecosystem. Generations of fallen leaves and decaying organic matter create a soft earth that holds moisture while allowing air to circulate freely.
