It’s so easy to get stuck in the rut of thinking of your garden as work.

Have you ever caught yourself thinking about gardening as…

❌ Needing something from you, instead of giving you what you need?

❌ Taking up time you’d rather spend doing something fun?

❌ Just another chore on your long to-do list?

❌ Overwhelming? Like your not sure how to get started?

❌ Something you’re just not good at? (I see you, self-proclaimed “brown thumbs” 😉)

I have something to help you out of that rut.

It’s time to reimagine what gardening could mean for your life. Whether you’ve been gardening for a long time or are just getting started, looking at gardening from fresh perspectives can help you discover new direction, purpose, and joy in your garden.

Because the truth is, your garden can be whatever you want it to be.

It can feed you in so many ways.

Your garden could become a lab for exciting science experiments, an art project, a meditation center, a place to slow down and connect with nature, or even an outdoor workout facility that saves you money. It all depends on what YOU want!

I am so excited to share with you this Garden Freedom Online Course. It all starts with YOU and what you want in your garden.

The Do's & Don'ts!

Whether you are a first-time gardener or the new owner of a home with a garden, there are some key things you should know before getting started. The best way to learn is by doing and making mistakes, but it’s helpful to have some guidance beforehand.

The following list includes some of the dos and don'ts for new gardeners.

Do:

- Make sure your soil is fertile and well-drained

- Start small - plant perennials in containers or raised beds instead of large gardens

- Get your hands dirty! Planting seeds is not just for kids!

Don't:

- Plant invasive species (like bamboo) in your yard if you want to keep them contained.

New gardeners often have a lot of questions, and it can be hard to find the answers. Here are some of the things you should know before getting started.

- Do your research! Get a good idea of what plants grow best in your region before buying any seeds or plants.

- Don't plant anything too close to trees, as they can block sunlight from reaching your garden.

- Do use organic fertilizers to help keep the soil healthy! They're better for the environment and make it easier for new gardeners to maintain their gardens.

This course is all about making your time in the garden efficient and FUN!
