Nash's salary for next season is $8 million. Based on his strengths, Nash's salary does come at a bit of a premium.
6. Raptors head coach Nick Nass
Coach Nass is arguably one of the most successful head coaches in recent years.
In 2018, Nas became the Raptor's head coach. In just his first season at the helm of the Raptors, Nas led the team to the first championship in Raptors history and won the award for the best coach in his second season. The contract with the Raptors was extended for multiple years.
Next season, Coach Nass will be paid $8 million, which is not a lot for Coach Nass.
5. Bucks head coach Mike Buden Holzer
Bo Holzer is the head coach of the Hawks. left the Hawks in 2018 to join the Bucks as their head coach.
Holzer came to the Bucks and took them to the finals in just three years, even winning the championship outright that season. Last season the Bucks didn't make it to the finals because of Middleton's injury. But, in the new season, a healthy Bucks is still one of the strongest contenders for the championship.
Likewise, Budenholzer's annual salary for next season will be $8 million.
4. Heat coach Eric Spoils-Kyra
Sposcola is a decorated coach of the Heat. he started working with the Heat in 1995 as an assistant coach and scout for the Heat and officially became the Heat head coach in 2008.
Then, after James joined the Heat, Coach Sposcola led the team to two championship trophies in four years, with Sposcola being the first Filipino head coach.
Next season, Sposcola's annual salary is US$8.5 million.
3. 76ers head coach Doug Rivers
Rivers has been the head coach of many teams in the NBA, from Magic head coach Coach Kourtney to Green Jackets head coach Kourtney, then Clippers head coach Kourtney and now 76ers head coach Kourtney. While Rivers has suffered many 3-1 playoff leads, his head coaching position is still secure. After all, he is also a championship coach.
Rivers' annual salary will also be $8.5 million next season.
2. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr

Popovic is a decorated coach in the NBA. He became the head coach of the Spurs in 1994. So far, he has coached the Spurs for 26 seasons. During that time he has won five championships for the Spurs, been named Coach of the Year three times, and is the winningest head coach in NBA history this year.
Next season, Popovic will be paid $11.5 million per year. In the off-season, the Spurs chose to rebuild, with Popo's father long past his seventies. Perhaps in a few more years, Popo's father may retire.
