“The number one contributor to climate change is greed.” - CC
There is an inversion to every aspect of life. Represented by the yin and yang. The wave that divides the Light from the Dark of the ancient Chinese symbol, is balance. Like all things in life the inanimate symbol is a concept of dynamics. That wave of division, the balance presents the solutions to the push and pull mechanics between the contrasting effects between the Light and the Dark.
Living in Texas, I have grown up going to the shores of Galveston, Surfside, South Padre and Corpus Christi. Being in the navy I have seen a plethora of ocean seas and shores. The Gulf of Mexico is a perfect example of a losing battle to climate change just by staring at the confluence of waters and how they morph from the crystal-clear Florida Keys and Cuban Caribbean waters. To the Brackish adherent texturized ocean water of The Gulf of Mexico. These impacts of water have been affected by a natural cause from the Mississippi Delta; As well, a manmade source from oil and gas companies and their heavy offshore rig volumes and inland pipelines.
Hempcrete in my opinion sits at the tip of the spear of the emerging Marijuana industry that America is begging to accept. There is many independent research data supplied by Universities and Non-Profit research organizations, who study the functional uses for Hemp. Some of these functional uses known prior to prohibition. One of the newest and most promising is Hempcrete. Hempcrete acts as a C02 filter as well to redistribute oxygen back into the immediate proximity. For purposes of intellectual property most of the following details are vague. None the less, the absence of these design details does not take away from the fundamental proven effectiveness of the materials. The plan is to develop Hempcrete filters for submergence as well buoyant pontoons of Hempcrete to absorb the C02 as well hydrocarbon contaminants. There is also a plan to design Coral like Hempcrete submersible habitats, to help migrating sea life to a new sanctuary to find permanent solace and prosperity. The mentioned pontoons could be attached to offshore oil rigs and serviced, maintained, and monitored by either the Non-Profit I have in mind or by the oil companies themselves through a new labor force opportunity this market could offer. Windfarms could also find use with these products. As well, the underwater telecommunication internet lines submerged emitting radiation warming the waters from the deep.
One of the most exciting hybrid industries I am looking forward to creating with hempcrete is a massive reimaging of the fishing industries. The culturing of the bivalves such as fresh water and saltwater mollusk and oysters. Bivalves have a natural mechanism to service and cleanse the water they are farmed. With the proper design and execution, the merging of benefits from bivalves and hempcrete upstream of The Mississippi beginning in Mississippi will start a natural purification of the waters as they flow through Louisiana Deltas and the Mouth of the Mississippi. This growth of the bivalve market could help the local food and hospitality industries. They could even bring forth the begging of pearl culturing. The taboo nature of marijuana is begging to become non-existent. Once the functional benefits from hemp alone are seen to the American Zeitgeist for a need to combat climate change, we will see more of an acceptance for conceptual uses. The booming Marijuana industry allows for a real grassroots movement of loyal financial start up seed investing. The ease of access from the industrial grown scattered across the nation states who have already legalized Hemp agriculture. There should be no excuse for us to at least attempt the plug and play function of what Hempcrete offers. My dream is to one day be eating on the patio of a reconstructed Balinese Room adjacent to the Galveston seawall. Look over the edge and out into an abyss of blue green translucent Gulf waters.
