Chimp and Tiger Cubs

Anjana the chimpanzee and the two white tiger cubs, Mitra and Shiva, reside at the Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species in South Carolina. The chimp started caring for the cubs as if they were her own and the cubs received warmth and security. Their relationship developed into a lovely friendship with the cubs doing lively antics and Anjana tenderly hugging them.

Elephant and the Dog

Bella, a joyful Labrador puppy, brought happiness to Bubbles, an elephant saved from poachers. The two, who live in a safari park, bonded over their love of play and water. Their home is the Myrtle Beach Safari wildlife preserve in South Carolina. Bella would frequently be carried on her back while swimming by Bubbles, who towered over her. Bella would jump off Bubbles’ head into the water during her favorite game, fetch. A friendship that shows that love is regardless of size or species. Unfortunately, Bella passed in 2026.

The Fox and the Dog

A tame dog named Tinni discovered an unexpected friend in a wild fox named Sniffer in the woodlands of Norway. The two have had many experiences together, including running, playing, and outdoor exploration. Tinni and Sniffer have come to represent the coexistence of domestic and wild animal harmony.

The Giraffe and the Ostrich

Wilma and Bea are animals that reside at Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay, Florida. Wilma is an ostrich and Bea is a giraffe who share a large enclosure within the park Mutual interest and lighthearted exchanges were the foundation of their friendship. They were frequently spotted wandering the Savannah together and seemed to enjoy each other’s company. The charming pair are a sight to behold and have formed a solid friendship.

The Gorilla and the Cat

A small kitten was the ideal companion for Koko, a gorilla who is well-known for her sign language skills. As Koko showed compassion for her feline companion, their relationship gained notoriety. The two were frequently spotted playing and cuddling, with Koko exhibiting traits of a devoted mother. Many people were moved by this odd bond between a powerful gorilla and a little kitten. Koko the gorilla is no longer with her cat because she passed away in 2018 at the age of 46. Her original feline companion, All Ball, died years earlier, though Koko continued to bond with other cats throughout her life.

The Hen and the Puppies

Mabel the hen and the puppies live on a farm located in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, in Britain. Mabel the hen became famous for adopting a litter of Rottweiler puppies after sustaining a foot injury that allowed her to move inside the house. The puppies sought safety and warmth under Mabel’s care because they had not mother of their own. Mabel shows love and compassion for the puppies and provided care and friendship, making them feel loved.

The Hippo and the Tortoise

Owen, a young hippo, got a new home in an animal sanctuary following a tsunami in Kenya. He made an unexpected friend named Mzee, an elderly and wise tortoise who was a 130-year-old giant tortoise. Exhausted, confused, and extremely frightened, Owen immediately ran to the safety of a giant tortoise when he was released in Haller Park. Walking, eating, and swimming together, the two friends were inseparable. Owen showed Mazee affection in ways that are characteristic of a parent-child bond by following her around. Their relationship overcame their difference, demonstrating that friendship can thrive in the face of adversity. The charming pair were a sight to behold.

The Lion and the Dog

Milo, a little dachshund, made friends with Bonedigger, a lion five times his size. They came together at the G.W. Exotic Animal Park in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. These two were raised together from an early age and developed a bond that astounded visitors to the zoo they lived in. Bonedigger’s gentle attitude was enhanced by Milo’s courageous nature. Milo would frequently be spotted nuzzling his enormous pal, encouraging interaction despite the difference in their sizes and relying on their strong friendship bond.

The Orangutan and the Dog

Suryia the orangutan and Roscoe the dog reside at a wildlife preserve located in South Carolina. Specifically, they live at the Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species in Myrtle Beach. Roscoe, a stray dog wandered into a wildlife reserve and became friends with the gregarious orangutan named Suryia. The two formed a friendship with lots of love and understanding.

The Owl and the Dog

Shrek, an owl, and Torque, a greyhound, developed an unexpected bond. Growing up together in a home environment, Torque’s kind disposition went well with Shrek’s inquisitive personality. Torque would frequently be seen cuddling with the owl, providing warmth and consolation. In their relationship, friendship and love are what matter the most and not that one is a bird and one is a dog. Shrek is free to roam the lounge as she strengthens her legs and often snuggles up to Torque on the sofa.
