Tahiti

I would like to start to talk about my holiday to Bora Bora. We planned this holiday for a long time. Me and my friends wanted to go somewhere tropical and enjoy dream holiday. It was on my bucket list for a while:)

Finally, the day came where we packed all things and go. Our trip began. We were so excited to go. We booked our catamaran in French Polynesia. There is a lot of islands -exactly 121 islands.

Consists of five main islands groups.

Society islands - where we went - this group is the most popular because there is Bora Bora and Tahiti. Those two islands are famous for traveling. The largest island is Tahiti with capital city called Pappete .

We took the plain to Papeete by air New Zealand the fly is around 5 hours, but unfortunately this trip was really adventures from beginning. We were in the plain for over 2 hours and the crew in the plain started to behave suspicious. We didn't know what is going on. They decided to turn back to New Zealand. They explained to us we will not have enough oxygen in the plain for all of us! We were panicking! I never thought i will be worried so much in my life! My and my friends looked to each other, and we knew we can do it. WE need to think positively. Is nothing going to happened.

After 2 hours of flying back everyone was so nervous and all the excitement was gone for our holiday! We were planning saving and preparing for this trip so long and we weren't even able to get there!

We arrived safe at the Auckland airport, but there was no fly to Tahiti !!! We were standing in long line to get to another plane, but that was in 2 days. Most people had a chance to get Plaine in 2 days, but we didn't! It filled so fast! NO CHANCE TO GET TO TAHITI!

New Zealand airlines gave us vouchers for food at the airport and we booked the hotel for a night because we didn't want to go home! What if!

Everyone was so disappointed no proper sleep, we stressed so much. We didn't want to go back home. We paid for holiday already, booked our catamaran we supposed to sail through islands. It looked like is nothing going to happened.

Next day we went to airport straight away to find solution for our spoiled holiday! At the end of long our waiting at the airport we find a small solution. There was a fly to Los Angeles -but no way 12 hour to fly!

Not a perfect picture but it was real! We decided to go 12 h to Los Angeles and then 8 hours back to Tahiti!!!Terrible beginning of our holiday!

Air New Zealand paid this plane to America for us, which was really nice gesture after that nightmare in the plain and at the airport. We did our ESTA visa to America, and we got visa after couple hours. It was a long fly when we finally arrived, we did go through checking in America-dog search loud people chaos and not a very nice welcome from American citizens at the airport. We were disappointed comparing New Zealand airport. We wanted to go through checking quickly. At the end we did it we got our plain Tahitian airlines so beautiful. Plain was clean, great food and nice service! We were so excited to go to our holiday even we lost almost 2 days .. Unless we will arrive to our destination ..

I am a vegetarian and i do love a good food. This was a real pleasure to have not spicy nothing spoiled just perfect! Dessert was really nice and perfect.

When i saw the screen i was so excited! I will be there soon! I will see the beauty of French Polynesia finally after the long trip, stress and disappointed we are heading to get our dream come through!

And when we arrived finally -TAHITI!!!!!

There is going to be a lot in Tahiti part 2.What we had to go through just to get to our Catamaran and to get to the ocean. Our holiday was really adventured. We were rely not expecting to happen this way .. It is just beginning ..We are looking forward what happen next. We were snorkeling with sharks and stingrays and whales! A lot to read and feel the adventure with us what we at last enjoy the MOST!
