Undersea beds: Nemo’s Garden takes terrestrial farming to new depths
Along the coast of Noli, Italy, in the garden of Nemos, the world's first underwater plant. Located 40 meters from the shores of the Italian city of Noli on the Ligurian Riviera and about eight feet below sea level, the underwater farm is the vision of an Italian father and two sons. This terrestrial garden, called Nemos Garden, is located on the beach near Noli on the Italian Riviera and was created to explore new agricultural opportunities. This underwater vegetation research farm may look like an exciting sci-fi setting for these images, but it is actually exploring new ways of growing.
