Climate Change and Environmental Conservationism
Climate change has been in the forefront of environmental awareness and innovation for decades now. I'm sure many of you have already seen countless television commercials advertising the companies' desire to promote environmental protection by reducing carbon emissions, harnessing and using sustainable green energy, reduction of plastic materials and products and lobbying for government recognition to focus on future development with an emphasis on environmentalism. Thanks to increased education, scientific research and effective activism, more and more people are realizing the necessity to conserve energy, recycle, use less, and adopt new green energy applications to better their lives and their communities and future generations.

Water. Top Story - May 2021.
It’s raining today. Don’t ask me why, I just want it to continue. I live in Tasmania on two-hundred-acres of virgin bush. The wildlife frolic freely here, no hunters allowed, and even the vermin can make you smile, but the rain, the rain never came when the tanks were empty. It never came when the lake dried up. It never came when my mouth craved its cool wet intrusion. Yes, in Tasmania, the rain never came, but it is here today.

Thanks to the Vocal Challenge
I wasn’t totally unaware of the importance of reducing my carbon footprint but the Wave Makers Vocal Challenge made me more aware of its importance. I have been doing my research to learn why it is so important and what I need to do to reduce my carbon footprint. As it turns out, I have been doing some things right but there is definitely room for improvement.

In doing so they will greatly reduce the carbon emissions that are having disastrous consequences to every economy around the world. The transformation from diesel and gas to all electric automobiles has already taken a giant step toward revolutionizing transportation across the globe.

Smith Island, rescuing us from extinction
Extinction. It's a pretty large and a scary concept at that. But where I live with other islanders, it could become a reality. Smith Island was founded in the early 1600's when it was discovered by Henry Smith. Since that point forward, settlers have inhabited and still continue to do so today. Unique fact also is the Native American population that inhabited the island long before Henry Smith ever arrived. That dates back to thousands of years prior.
