So he hurried home

So he hurried home

Ali Sa was amused and thought to himself, "This shameless man has been following me for half a day for a mouthful of water. I swear to Allah, I didn't have the heart to refuse him." So he hurried home and brought out a glass of water for the thirsty Christian. At this time, seeing him back, the emerald Green asked with concern:

"Have you sold the curtain?"

"Sold." Ali Sa replied simply.

"Was it sold to a merchant, or to a passer-by? I wanted to find out because I was a little apprehensive, and all of a sudden I felt unsettled, as if there were signs of separation."

"I never socialized with passers-by, so of course I sold my curtains to businessmen."

"Don't hide it from me, so I'll be on my guard. I ask you, where are you taking this glass of water, and what are you doing with it?"

"The middleman was thirsty; he brought it for him to drink."

"It is over, but the great Allah save you and me!" With a long sigh, the emerald green sadly sings:

"To fly away,

Please walk slowly.

Do not be too hasty,

Don't let your lover's embrace tempt and deceive you.

Reason is your ally,

Never act on emotion,

Because fate often does things for no reason,

Notice that after convergence, dispersion follows immediately after the beginning."

The emerald green of fear and sighing did not alarm Ali Sa, and he carried the water out with intent. Seeing the Christian already in the front yard, he was disgusted and said, "What are you doing here? Dog! How can you come and break into my house uninvited?"

"Don't be angry, Sir. I think it's the same everywhere. The front door, the entrance, it makes no difference. You may rest assured that I will not go one step further. I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and generosity." The Christian, hesitating with sweet words, took the cup from Ali Sa, drank every drop, and returned it to Ali Sa.

Ali Sa took the cup and waited for him to go out, but he still refused to leave grimly. Angry Ali Sa drove him away with a livid face: "Why don't you go? Get up and fuck you."

"Sir, I drink your cold water, but I hope you give me something to satisfy my hunger. Anything, even a little scallion cake, would be a quick fix. Now that you have helped me for the first time, just help me again. Please don't worry too much about gain and loss. The poet once remarked:

Alas, those who are truly good are not to be found,

If you complain to them,

They were generous enough to give away money.

Alas the world is full of false love,

When people complain to them,

But I can't even get cold water."

"Don't talk any more! There's nothing for you to eat in my house. Go away." Ali Sa flatly refused.

"Master, if you don't have anything ready at home, please use my hundred gold to go to the market and buy some to eat. I wouldn't be more grateful for just one wheat cake. We could have had a meal together. I am very hungry now, in urgent need of something to satisfy my hunger, even if it is just a spring onion and a cake, it can satisfy me. In short, whatever can satisfy my hunger, for me at this time, are better than delicacies. The poet said it best:

Even if dry bread and cold water were enough to satisfy one's hunger,

Why look for years?

From Kings and nobles to lowly people,

Death is no respecter."

Ali Sa heard the Christian's paradoxical words, but he could not come to his senses. He thought: "This Christian must be mad. But you can use his hundred gold to buy anything cheap to put him off, and make fun of him too." Having made up his mind, he readily expressed his willingness to do it for him, saying:

"In that case, wait here for a moment. I'll lock the door and go to the market to buy you something."

"Yes, I'll wait for you." The Christians were filled with joy.

Ali Sa padlocked the door of the house, took the key with him, went to the market, bought cheese, honey, bananas, and flatbread, and gave them to the Christian to satisfy his hunger and his desire.

"Sir, you've bought too much for ten people." The Christian grinned and said: "I can't eat alone, you just accompany me to eat together."

"I'm not hungry. You can help yourself." Ali Sa flatly refused.

"As the saying goes, 'Only the bad guys don't follow etiquette and sit at different tables. 'And now that we are the guests and hosts, it is only right that we eat and drink together." The Christian dared Ali Sa to eat and drink with him.
