Solar System

The Sun is the home of the Earth, it has eight planets, and the Earth is one of them, and is the only one with an intelligent civilization. Ancient humans did not have advanced detection equipment and could only stay on Earth to look up at space, not knowing how big the Earth is, let alone how big the solar system is.

Along with the rise of human technological civilization, the dream of flying to the sky soon came true, and humans came out of the Earth and saw the vastness of the universe, and also saw the home of the solar system on Earth. It was then that we understood that the Earth is only a smaller planet in the solar system, while the Sun is a huge star around which other planets orbit.

Although humans have astronomical telescopes to observe galaxies tens of billions of light-years away, the only one we can explore and study at the moment is our solar system, and it has to do with the speed of our current spacecraft. With the current human technology, our spacecraft or probes are not yet able to fly out of our solar system, so we can only explore within our solar system.

As we all know, the sun is a star, its internal fusion at all times, that is, the hydrogen bomb explosion is happening constantly, we can imagine that in the scene of the hydrogen bomb explosion, the shock wave will spread in all directions, everywhere, the material will be blown away. The solar wind is the same, when the sun's internal nuclear explosion is constantly occurring, the solar wind produces energy countless times greater than the energy produced by the hydrogen bomb.

It is this powerful solar wind that spews out the energy that blows interstellar dust out of the solar system's range. Scientists say that at the beginning of the formation of the solar system, interstellar dust covered the entire solar system, leaving it in a gray state. At that point, the sun appeared and sent out a strong solar wind that blew this interstellar dust far away.

Day by day, the interstellar dust in the solar system is less and less, are blown to the edge of the solar system, but in the solar system has formed a clean land, it is the strong power of the solar wind, there is now a clean solar system star, there is the birth of life on Earth, any planet to produce life, the first must have a very clean and stable environment.

Where did all that interstellar dust blown away by the solar wind come from? Actually, they didn't disappear but concentrated at the edge of the solar system, and slowly they formed a ring that encloses the solar system, which is often referred to by scientists as the Kuiper Belt. At the edge of the solar system, the top of the solar layer, the edge of where the solar wind can affect.

Interstellar dust from the Sun's interior was blown to the edge of the solar system by the solar wind and then gathered here, slowly forming what is today known as the Kuiper Belt, which acts like a protective shield that surrounds the solar system, so that when you shrink the solar system, you will find that the solar system is a very clean space, but it is surrounded by countless dense material.

The formation of the Kuiper Belt is so simple that it has both advantages and disadvantages for the solar system. The advantage is to stop the invasion of radiation or interstellar material from outside the solar system, which can effectively protect the solar system and make it safe and stable, while the Earth can give birth to life and human beings, and the protection of the Kuiper Belt also has a lot to do with it.

Of course, the Kuiper Belt also has disadvantages, that is, human spacecraft that want to leave this area will have a certain risk, New Horizons has now swept past Pluto towards the Kuiper Belt, and from New, Horizons sent back part of the distant Kuiper Belt map, you can see, New Horizons above the countless small white dots, these small white dots are a celestial body, so you can also think, Kuiper Belt within the celestial bodies and material is not only more and The Kuiper Belt is so dense that a spacecraft may collide with an object if it is not careful.

If humans want to explore the universe from beyond the solar system, they must cross this Kuiper Belt, and only if we know enough about the distribution of objects in this Kuiper Belt, our spacecraft can cross this space, otherwise, we are just playing with our lives. In recent years, scientists have intensified their exploration and study of the Kuiper Belt at the edge of the solar system.

New Vision is just a pioneer, it has completed the initial exploration of the Kuiper Belt, the future scientists will launch more probes to probe deeper, until there is enough understanding of the Kuiper Belt to prepare for mankind out of the solar system.

In recent decades, scientists have been searching for the existence of extraterrestrial life and alien civilizations, but after many years, we still haven't found anything, is this also related to Kuiper? Imagine that the Kuiper belt surrounds the solar system and we cannot see everything beyond the edge of the solar system, while an alien civilization discovers the solar system beyond it and the first thing it sees is the Kuiper belt, without actually finding the Earth in the solar system, much fewer humans.

So, even if an alien civilization approaches the solar system, they cannot see the Earth because of the Kuiper Belt barrier, so naturally, they do not enter the solar system to avoid exposure to the Earth. Even though we have no contact with alien civilizations, we believe that they will not all be good. As Stephen Hawking said, there are good and bad alien civilizations, and once we encounter a bad alien civilization that discovers the Earth, it is not good to wait for humans to do it again.

If an alien civilization could come to Earth from a distant galaxy, their technological strength could be at least a few hundred years ahead of humans. This is not a gap caused by solidarity and enthusiasm, and humans may not even be able to defeat the spacecraft of an alien civilization with global power. The aliens, can destroy the Earth with a laser cannon in outer space, and this is the gap in civilizational power.

Therefore, mankind should be grateful for this protective shield at the edge of the solar system, which protects both the solar system and the Earth and protects mankind. At the same time, it also brings unlimited resources for the future of mankind. The countless number of stars in the Kuiper Belt also represents the countless resources of human civilization. Human civilization cannot develop without resources, and the resources of the Earth are limited, and only by continuously developing space resources can human civilization develop continuously.
