The technology of coming back from the dead is maturing

In the plots of science fiction movies, we sometimes see scenes of "coming back from the dead", but does "coming back from the dead" exist in real life?

"Plants that come back from the dead

If people did come back from the dead, it would be very exciting for some people, especially those who are terminally ill. There have been acromegaly people since the last century.

Some terminally ill people didn't want to die like that, so they were frozen. After their blood has been removed, they are frozen in tanks of liquid nitrogen in the hope that one day they will be resurrected.

Achieving resurrection from the dead is very difficult, but no difficulty can defeat clever human beings. 2019 saw scientists rise from the dead briefly.

The organs of a pig that had been successfully revived for some time.

Can people come back from the dead?

Of course, this is not a true resurrection. What we mean by resurrection is a return from death to a healthy state. This kind of resurrection is more difficult.

This resurrection of a pig's organs only makes them somewhat alive, not bringing them back to life.

The brain decides whether we live or die.

In 2019, Professor Nenad sestan carried out experiments to revive pig organs. The pig had been dead for 240 minutes at the time and the carcass was already a bit cold. Nenad sustain then injected a liquid into the pig's brain. After some time, the pig's brain slowly came back to life and the pig brain gradually became what it was 240 minutes ago.

This means that this amazing liquid can restore the pig's organs to some extent.

Professor Nenad sestan

So many people began to imagine: if injected into a human body, would people be reborn?

The pig used in the experiment

As explained by the professor, this mysterious fluid is organelle perfusion fluid, consisting of hemoglobin and blood.

Under normal circumstances, normal death is due to a severe lack of oxygen to the brain, which eventually leads to brain death.

It is important to know that the brain usually dies after 15 minutes of oxygen deprivation, but after injecting this fluid, the brain comes back to life. What's going on here?

Hemoglobin

Relying on this fluid does not achieve the desired effect at all and requires the use of advanced ones to help the body restore blood circulation and organ function.

In other words, the dead pig brain, when put into a healthy live pig, relies on the normal activities of the live pig to stimulate the dead pig brain, which then slowly gains vitality.

To be clear, this is not a resurrection from the dead, but more like an organ transplant. However, this method relies on a complex system. Circumventing the risks of surgery.

Human blood circulation

This technology is not yet widespread and is still in the research phase, but it could be a boon for organ transplants.

However, this technology has also attracted a lot of controversies.

For example, the definition of death and the ethical issues involved.

It is well known that medical death is brain death, but once a person is near death after an accident, their brain is still active after the technology has been processed, so how should we define death in the future?

The body is dead, but the brain is good. Is this death? And there is simply not enough technology nowadays to really restore the body and actually 'come back from the dead.

The resulting definition of death is not well handled. Furthermore, resurrection from the dead is an advanced theory. Even if the concept of coming back from the dead is acceptable to the current conception of the planet and the human race, the application of technology to reality is inevitably somewhat abrupt.

Just like with acromegaly, there are a lot of controversies, but on second thought, who wouldn't want to extend their life? What are your thoughts on this technology?
