Promote green development! The first self-discipline convention on plastic reduction of green packaging in express delivery industry has been released.

On the afternoon of September 28, the China Express Association organized 18 brand express delivery enterprises to sign the "China Express Industry Green Packaging reduction self-discipline Convention" (hereinafter referred to as "self-discipline Convention") and issued, which is the industry's first green packaging reduction self-discipline convention.

Han Ruilin, vice president and secretary-general of China Express Association, said that the self-discipline Convention is an effective measure to strengthen the control of plastic pollution in the field of express delivery and jointly promote the green development of the industry. Representatives of contracted enterprises have expressed that they will conscientiously implement the "self-discipline Convention" and jointly promote the green development of express packaging.

The member units of the Convention strictly abide by the relevant national regulations, standards and policies on the management of green packaging of mail and express parcels, purchase and use packaging materials that meet the relevant provisions of the state, standardize packaging operations, and strengthen packaging management.

As an organizational unit, the China Express Association is responsible for coordinating and supervising the implementation of self-discipline provisions by the member units of the Convention, and regularly collecting and sorting out the achievements of the relevant work of the member units, so as to steadily promote the implementation of the plastic pollution control work in the express industry.
