MTV transmission to outer space

Everybody always talks about extraordinary moments that happened at the MTV music video awards well one that really sticks out in my mind is one that’s never talked about. It happened at the 1996 MTV video music awards or music video award depending on how you slice it.

To my knowledge never before since had something like this had ever happened OK let me cut the chase comedian and legend Dennis Miller was hosting that year and that was a cool choice on my in my part and they had him actually talked to two Russian Cosman nuts in outer space so that that right there is a remarkable event that happened at the 1996 MTV video musical awards. You know from Earth to wherever the space station was at the time.

Dennis Miller did one hell of a great job holding it together at one point he’s talking to the two astronauts in outer space and then at one moment later, they completely lose contact earth to the space station and while the crew in the back the background crew scrambled to get reconnected the connection. Dennis did one hell of a great job. It was fantastic.

Unfortunately Fortunately, that’s one of the greatest moments that ever happened at the MTV music awards but however, like I said sadly it’s a moment that never gets mentioned and I don’t know why.

I guess a phenomenal moment like this would be kept quiet because either NASA or CIA or whoever is involved with the whole thing you know that happened to be with space and stuff wants to keep it buried for whatever reason. But I think it should be one of those moments that’s really talked about. I mean, if only in this article, but still it was phenomenal earth talking to outer space I’ve never seen that done before since that was quite an unforgettable moment. Phenomenal earth talking to outer space I’ve never seen that done before since that was quite an unforgettable moment in MTV history and also the history of the video musical awards too.

It certainly give the moon man award a new meeting that year because during the transmission the two cosmonauts actually had one of the moon men with you and Dennis Miller pointed that out. To keep the show going, Dennis Miller was fantastically, funny and stuff, and I don’t think any other host could’ve you know Did such a great job with what was going on with Dennis Miller did and that’s why he was one of the funniest comedians ever and that just makes me like him even more.

I guess NASA and the CIA would rather it be buried but MT really should use this as one of their most unforgettable MTV moments as they do with all the specials that they used to air regarding all the unforgettable moments that happened at the award ceremony.

Then afterwards, the awards ceremony went on like normal as if it never happened. I mean it was never discussed again or since you know that that wasn’t supposed to happen, but it was a historic moment. That’s you know really never shine a light on you know.

After all these years to now, that’s one of the things that sticks out in my mind as if it happened yesterday because it was just an incredible moment in television and an MTV history as I had said throughout this whole article. Whoever had decided to make that moment possible at the award ceremony is a genius that’s all I wanted to say and that’s how I close this article.
