The Underrated Monkey Trail

The southern Thai province of Krabi is renowned for its breathtaking scenery, pristine waterways, and wide variety of activities. In Krabi, I enjoyed a restful yet exciting time. Here are five things you absolutely must do in Krabi if you're visiting there:

1. Have a mindful walk.

The Monkey Trail is often underrated. It is a short hiking trail in Ao Nang, Krabi, Thailand. The track is only roughly 600 meters long, and it can be hiked from end to end in under 20 minutes. Beautiful panoramas of the surroundings may be seen from the Monkey Trail. The Andaman Sea, the limestone cliffs, and the dense jungle can all be seen from the walk. From the end of the Monkey Trail to Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Krabi's private beach, it was a peaceful and pleasurable walk for me.

2. Hop the 4, 5 or 7 islands.

I chose the four-island tour because I thought it was less hectic. A well-liked tourist activity that lets people see some of the most stunning islands in the region is the "4 Island Hopping Tour." Visits to Koh Poda, Chicken Island, Tup Island, and Phra Nang Beach are frequently included in the itinerary.

Koh Poda is a small island with a white sand beach and crystal-clear waters. It is a popular spot for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing. Chicken Island is a small island with a distinctive rock formation that resembles a chicken. It is a popular spot for photography and hiking. Tup Island is a small island with a secluded beach. It is a perfect place to relax and get away from the crowds. Phra Nang Beach is a beautiful beach with a cave that is home to a shrine to the goddess Phra Nang.

3. Go rock climbing in Railay Beach.

Railay Beach is a small peninsula that is only accessible by boat. It is a popular destination for rock climbers, as the limestone cliffs offer challenging and rewarding climbs

4. Climb 1260 stairs.

Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Sua) is a Buddhist temple located in Krabi, Thailand. It is a popular tourist destination and is known for its steep hike to the top of a limestone hill, where a cave is home to a large Buddha statue. The cave at the top of the hill is said to be the home of a tiger spirit, which is why the temple is called Tiger Cave Temple.

The hike to the top of the hill is very steep and takes about an hour to complete. The hike is worth it for the stunning views of the surrounding area.

5. Soak it all in the Emerald Pool.

The Emerald Pool is a hidden gem in Krabi, Thailand. It is a natural pool located in the middle of the jungle, and it is fed by a natural spring. The water in the pool is a beautiful emerald green color, and it is surrounded by limestone cliffs. The pool is a popular tourist destination, but it is still a relatively quiet place. It is a great place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The hike to the Emerald Pool is about 1.5 kilometers long, and it is not too difficult. The path is well-marked, and there are a few rest stops along the way. The hike is a great way to get some exercise and to enjoy the scenery.

I booked a private day tour to several spots. Watch how I climbed to the summit and I enjoyed a swim in the Emerald Pool:
