Work, Sleep, Eat, Repeat. Work, Sleep, Eat, Repeat. Work, Sleep, Eat, Repeat.
Everyone venturing, on a clock adjusted to their days; Tweaked to match their schedules, spouses' plans, and children's delights.
Fast, fast, fast. GET IT DONE!
No time to settle, things must get done!
No, no, we needn't waste any more time!
Fetch the dishes, the children, the laundry, the garden for dinner;
No time to stand, no time to waste!

Smoke encircling the clouds, attempting to spread on the skies playground;
Bouncy, fluffy, white. Here come the smog!
I can't imagine why Mother hits with such strong winds, rains and hurricanes;
Attempting to clean the poison off of her porch.
Everyone's so busy, so concerned about being late:
On a clock that started as man-made.
One favorite item we all know to be true;
Nature waits for no one; no clock, no man, not me, not you.

I can feel her surge through the energy of the soil;
May she take all that was hers, and leave nothing to spoil.
May she raise her voice and scream her winds to dispel the tyranny.
May she open the skies for her trees, her children, and her home, and may they be restored beautifully.
She rises to stop it effortlessly. She swallows it all with her waves of rejuvenation.
Everything is quiet, solace, peace finally;
An egg cracks, eyes open, a mother bird chirps gleefully.
Sol brings warmth, encouraging the greens to stretch and reach up;
Luna brings love and encouragement that, finally, the humans are done.

Her children start to come out of hiding, analyzing any threats;
The birds begin flying in joy; the dolphins and fish swim with glee.
The hatchlings begin making their journey to the water,
As the seagulls fly against the wind, making their caws louder.
The clouds come back to play, in a sky of open color;
No smog to detect, no monoxide to run from, just an open palette.
Wings dance through the fluff of birds and butterflies alike;
Singing a tune of glee, freedom, and happiness in serenity.

A world without traffic, expectations, hurriedness, and stress;
A world with only Sol, Luna, and the family they protect.
A time that exists in stories, not one to follow to the dot;
A time where finally, everything that mattered before does not.
Cherish the warmth, the seasons, the soil;
Give back to Mother Earth and give gratitude to every natural seed;
They provide, protect, and nurture all of us, and maybe a reminder is what we need;
Nature will always win, no matter the war;
We can stress ourselves out trying to change that, or begin working with her.
Tree huggers, nature enthusiasts, all the man-made, attempted degrading nicknames;
Yet the land is the biggest battle fought over when no one can honestly claim.
Nature created these valleys, hills, mountains, and seas;
When push comes to shove, she takes back all she created, with ease.

Energy never lies, and history has proven it repeats;
We seek more and more and more, and neglect to cherish what our present needs.
We seek more thrills than we seek knowledge;
A seek of "how far" than a congratulatory "this is what we needed".
We abuse and neglect Mother Earth, who first taught us nurture;
We seek to evolve higher than our creator.
As curiosity is a blessing, it can be turned into a curse;
The greed and selfish behavior will return and take with it every selfish, narcissistic heart.
Our earth is prosperous alone; she never needed us;
Our time was given to appreciate and contribute, not to make it all about us.
