The Earth's environment has become worse and worse, people have started to cut down forests and dig coal mines without restraint. The Earth's green color is decreasing little by little, turning into a gray and bare planet. Every time the earth rotates around the sun for a week, the earth is getting older and weaker. In such a situation, the world organization decided to send astronauts to the outer solar system, looking for a second Earth.

Technology has developed so fast that in just one day, we arrived with the landing of the spacecraft on an unknown planet - 1KB0 planet. The crew was thrilled and excited to discover this newly emerged planet, but more than that, it was a responsibility - our teammates who had been sent to explore were lost, and we carried their hopes with us on this mission.

On the way to explore, we found that there was once a water source, a forest. Not only that, but we found something strange. Not only were there some strange footprints on this planet, but surprisingly there were items from Earth! The team was all very confused about this phenomenon, but no one could answer. Gradually, the wind began to blow stronger and stronger, and we found no signs of life on this planet. Time passed little by little, and our confidence was worn out little by little.

"Maybe, there is no life here, just an ordinary planet. But ...... those footprints ...... those items on the planet ...... "The more I think about it, the more I do not understand, looking at the frustrated mood of my teammates, a feeling of homesickness The 1KB0 planet was alone and gray, as if it had never been discovered, just moving in space according to its trajectory week after week.

The next day, we planned to return to our flight. With a sigh of relief, we entered the ship. But what was unexpected was that as we entered the ship, I saw my lost teammates! We called out in surprise and hugged each other. The old team members told us that they were not lost, but had stayed on planet 1KB0 because the ship had malfunctioned and couldn't return. "We came across texts left by the inhabitants of this place during our expedition, and they told us about their experiences living on planet 1KB0 and ......" The old team members stopped talking and instead shook their heads and sighed with a hard look on their faces. "Difficult not, their planet is also caused by people do not protect the environment, excessive logging, and mining?" The old team member did not answer, but only revealed a dark sadness in his eyes. I dropped my head, and there was darkness and helplessness in front of me. The tiny, lonely, gray planet 1KB0 seemed to feel our frustration as well. The wind was blowing less, and the whimpering sounded like sobs. The Earth was so far away from planet 1KB0, but this same encounter drew us very close to it.

The old team member found another flower in his backpack, pink and covered by the space bio-protection bin. "This is the last life we found, corresponding to sample number 734 in the lab. This flower, too, is all that is left of planet 1KB0." The flower was tiny and seemed unbearable, but it remained stubbornly alive. Using imaging technology, we saw what the flower looked like before on the shrinkable screen in front of us. It belonged to the once beautiful sea of flowers on planet 1KB0, the once moving laughter, the once vibrant world. It is like, once upon a time, the Earth. Here we are, not finding the future we hoped for, but seeing that truest future.

Mission accomplished, back to Earth.

Did we find a second Earth? No, we didn't. No, we did.

It is in the midst of our change.
