To all the readers again I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Today I have brought you another amazing story that will give you a lot of information So stay connected with us in the same way.

So the reader is requested to read the entire story because this incident is heartbreaking and considered one of the most dangerous incidents in the world.

You will know that Everything in the world like humans, animals, birds and trees are formed with Addition of Atoms . Atoms have an energy. This energy was discovered by Ernest Rutherford after which this energy started to be used in good and bad works.

Ernest Rutherford

This energy is used by many countries to generate electricity. It does not cost much to generate electricity with energy.

Many countries of this atomic energy have also installed nuclear power plants. This nuclear power is also used to wreak havoc in many country wars.

In this story also we will talk about a true incident related to nuclear.

What we are talking about is what is known as Chernobyl , an outbreak that will last for the next 20,000 years.

First of all we talk about where is Chernobyl?

Chernobyl is a city in Ukraine which has become a complete the ruins at the moment.

Before April 1986 it was a populated town where people of Ukrainian used to come for holidays.

It was the nuclear power plant of the USSR(union Soviet Socialist Republic) in the city. The Soviet Union was a united nation. At that time, USSR was the only one to compete with a country like America .But after 1991 USSR was divided into many countries. Ukraine was one of those many countries । Before the disintegration of the USSR in 1970, a great power like AMERICA was expanding economically while the USSR was weakening economically.

Economically weakening Soviet Union thought to build a hitech city The main reason was to increase the economy .

A city where there will be all kinds of facilities, people from other countries will come to tour and this will increase the economy. This city was named 'Prypat'.

This city was built by USSR in 1970 And now this city is in Ukraine. Prypat city was built and ready by 1979. Electricity is the most important energy required for the construction of a large city which is used in all activities. Chernobyl city was chosen for power generation.Where electricity was to be generated by nuclear power plant .

Chernobyl plant

Chernobyl Power Complex, lying about 130 km north of Kiev, Ukraine, and about 20 km south of the border with Belarus, consisted of four nuclear reactors of the RBMK-1000 design . Units 1 and 2 were constructed between 1970 and 1977, while units 3 and 4 of the same design were completed in 1983.Two more RBMK reactors were under construction at the site at the time of the accident. To the southeast of the plant, an artificial lake of some 22 square kilometres, situated beside the river Pripyat, a tributary of the Dniepr, was constructed to provide cooling water for the reactors. This area of Ukraine is described as Belarussian-type woodland with a low population density. About 3 km away from the reactor, in the new city, Pripyat, there were 49,000 inhabitants. The old town of Chornobyl, which had a population of 12,500, is about 15 km to the southeast of the complex. Within a 30 km radius of the power plant, the total population was between 115,000 and 135,000 at the time of the accident.

By 1980, the entire city had been built. The construction of the nuclear power plant for the generation of electricity was completed by 1983, due to which the entire city was electrified.

Tourists from other countries also started coming to the city, with which the city became known as a famous place in a very short time.

But this happiness did not last long. April 26, 1986 brought a very inauspicious morning to this city. On this day, the lives of millions of people, animals, and creatures were to be destroyed.

On this day, the nuclear reactor (which is the power sending device in all plants) has to be tested. The test of this reactor was that if needed, this reactor can be cooled after running for a long time or not.Or it may or may not be cooled during an emergency.

Actually this power plant works with nuclear energy. In which water is boiled with the energy created from the combination of atoms, from which steam is produced, which is collected in the reactor room and fed to the next system. The steam from the water further drives turbines high enough to generate electricity.

It sounds easy enough but there is always an invisible danger called radiation. The effect of which lasts for generations .

Had done such test once before also but its answer was unsuccessful. The biggest mistake that has been considered during this test was a 26 year old engineer whose experience was very less. He had only four months experience which was very less. Whereas there were many shortcomings in those four reactors as well.At that time there was no emergency backup either.

On 26 April 1986 at 1:23 am suddenly the engineer lost his control and the reactor overheated. Since the reactor was overhead, tons of water was poured over it.The water poured over the reactor was turning into steam and the steam pressure was out of control. When this steam increased, there was a blast in the reactor. This blast finally caused the death of millions of people, animals.

8 ton radiation was found in the air. Due to the blast, the roof of the plant was blown away.

Some people died there due to blast and some people had come in contact with radiation.

Now the J incident was considered the biggest nuclear incident in the world.
