People can hear sounds around them even after they die

For all people, death is an inescapable end. Perhaps from the moment, we come into the world, we are destined to accept the end of death. Even though we have a different processes of life, the end station of our life is the same.

There are always many people leaving us in this earthly world, and we have all experienced the death of people around us in one way or another. But do you know? In fact, at the time of the final farewell, the person who died can still hear the surrounding sound, what is going on?

The process of human death

Life is a "short trip", we get on the train for a few decades, and we inevitably have to move toward the end of death. Many people are both afraid and curious about death, so what is the process of human death?

Common sense suggests that the human death process can be divided into three stages: the near-death stage, the clinical death stage, and the biological death stage. Different people have different definitions of death, but death is a long process for us, and all of our body functions will be gradually "laid off" in this process, ending their lives.

The first stage of death: is the near-death stage. As the name implies, during the near-death stage, we are constantly wandering within the boundary between life and death, making our final mortality on earth. During this stage, our consciousness will gradually become blurred and all the functions in our body will start to become dull.

Our brain will not be able to respond in time to everything that happens in the outside world. My heart will gradually become weaker and weaker, and slowly stop beating, and in the process, our breathing will also begin to slow down. In the near-death stage, we can feel the gradual disconnection from the world.

The second stage of death: is clinical death. After passing the first stage, we reach the clinical death stage. During this stage, we will not have any valid life characteristics and our doctors will pronounce us dead.

By definition, our life is over. We will not have any respiratory function, and our brains will be completely unconscious and incapable of thinking.

The third stage of death: is the biological death stage. This is the last stage of death, in which the organs of our body are gradually "laid to rest". It is the end of our life.

In this process, all metabolism in the body will end and our organs will go on a journey of "no return" to death. As time passes, our life will end and our bodies will most likely be cremated in a funeral home, and there will be no trace of our bodies on earth.

The latest function to be lost

For the human body functions, there is a "first come, first served" process, and among the legends, human hearing is one of the last functions to be laid off. So many people have said that even if a person has died, they or also can hear the outside world.

Since the dead do not speak, so people have always questioned whether people can hear outside voices after death. To verify the truth of this rumor, a medical team from Canada has launched a "hearing investigation" on 60 dying patients.

The research team through the brain waves to see the human hearing after death, if after death, the patient's brain waves can still fluctuate normally, then it means that people can still condition the outside world after death.

After the experiment, the research team began to implement their own "brainwave project". In the last days of the deceased, the team played a sound for them to see their brain wave condition.

After their death, the team also played the sound and compared the two brain waves. The team was surprised to find that for a short period after death, their brain waves still showed normal fluctuations.

This means that for a short period after death, the dying person can indeed hear the outside world, and our hearing is indeed the last function in our body to be "laid off".

Why does hearing disappear last?

For every organ in the body, it will come to an end when the body dies, so why is the sense of hearing the "lucky" one, the last function to disappear?

In this regard, scientists have also explained: First, it turns out that after the death of the human body, there is a certain "time gap" between physical death and brain death. And this time difference will be able to give our hearing a certain amount of "retention" time. Our hearing can use this time to finally work for the body.

Second, compared with other body functions in the body, human hearing requires less energy consumption. It is because the auditory function has the characteristic of "low energy consumption", so after the body dies, our auditory can use the last bit of energy to perform its function and do its last "work".

However, although our hearing can play their energy after the death of the body this process does not last long, according to expert speculation, this process is only about 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, our sense of hearing will disappear and we will be completely disconnected from the world.

It seems that even after the death of another person, we need to be careful with what we say and do, as the body's sense of hearing will convey the "last voice" of the world to us.

For many people, life is very short, and we do not know when the train of life will stop for us. So as people who are still living in the world, we should also cherish our lives and live each day well in the world.
