A Dry Land Story By Punit kr.
All evoke a sense of hope, resilience, and new beginnings. They suggest that even in the midst of a difficult situation, there is always the possibility of finding hope and happiness. The emotional words used in these subtitles also help to convey the sense of joy, relief, and peace that comes with finally reaching dry land.
The sea has left me stranded,
On this foreign shore,
Where the sand is cold and barren,
And the sky is filled with hoar.
I long to feel the waves crash,
Against my skin once more,
To taste the salt on my lips,
And hear the seagulls soar.
But for now I am a prisoner,
Of this dry and dusty land,
Where the only sound is silence,
And the only sight is sand.
I miss the feeling of freedom,
That I felt when I was free,
To roam the ocean's depths,
And explore all that it could see.
But now I am just a castaway,
Stranded on this foreign shore,
With nothing but my thoughts,
To keep me company.
I wonder if I will ever see
The ocean again,
Or if I will be forever trapped,
On this dry and dusty land.
Dry Land
The cracked earth weeps tears of dust
As the sun beats down without mercy.
The plants have all turned to husks
And the animals have fled in fear.
The people huddle in their homes,
Trying to keep the heat at bay.
They pray for rain, but the sky is dry,
And the clouds are nowhere to be seen.
The children cry for food,
And the elders grow weak and frail.
The water is running out,
And there is no hope in sight.
But still, the people cling to life,
Hoping against hope for a miracle.
They know that if they give up,
They will surely die.
So they hold on, day after day,
Waiting for the rain that never comes.
They are a people of dry land,
But they are not defeated.
They know that one day, the rains will come,
And the land will be reborn.
And when that day comes, they will rejoice,
And sing songs of praise to the heavens.
Until then, they will keep on fighting,
No matter how hard the odds.
They are a people of dry land,
But they are a people of hope.
Dry Land
The earth is cracked and dry,
The grass is brown and dead,
The trees are bare and thin,
The sky is filled with dread.
The animals are gone,
The birds have flown away,
The people are afraid,
They don't know what to say.
The water is all gone,
The wells are dry and deep,
The crops have all died,
The people are in deep sleep.
The sun is hot and bright,
The wind is hot and dry,
The people are all gone,
The earth is left to die.
But there is still hope,
There is still a chance,
That the rains will come again,
And the earth will be made whole.
So we must wait and hope,
And pray for rain to fall,
So that the earth can live again,
And the people can be free.
The earth is parched, the sky is blue,
The sun beats down, the wind is dry.
The crops are dead, the grass is brown,
The animals are all gone.
The people cry, their lips are cracked,
Their throats are parched, their skin is burned.
They beg for water, they beg for rain,
But there is none, there is no pain.
The rivers are dry, the lakes are gone,
The fish are dead, the birds have flown.
The people are dying, one by one,
There is no hope, there is no sun.
But then, one day, a cloud appears,
A small, dark cloud, with silver tears.
The cloud grows bigger, the rain comes down,
The people rejoice, the land is drown.
The crops grow green, the grass is lush,
The animals return, the people rush.
They dance and sing, they give thanks,
The rain has come, the drought is ax.
But then, the cloud goes away,
The sun comes out, the rain is done.
The people are afraid, they are scared,
They know the drought will come again.
But for now, they are happy, they are glad,
The rain has come, the drought is past.
They will live another day, another year,
And hope that the rain will come once more.
