I was waiting in the darkness

With my gun tight in my hands,

It was the fourth night, and I was not happy,

They told me that it is alive with hunt,

But, so far, I found nothing

Only wilderness and the endless moaning of the wind.

I was tired of spending my time out there and wanted to back

But my greed insisted on my return

It was a moonlit night, and I knew my hunt is nearby,

I felt the smell of the hunt in the wind, and I was waiting,

Impatiently

I felt blood pumped fast into me, and my body is ready for-

The hunt.

The moon was suddenly behind clouds,

Leaving me in pitch dark,

Only for a few seconds.

And I saw her.

With her baby dancing in the moonlit grass.

I tried to drag the trigger, but

It did not obey me.

I watched my hund moving away into the mist, and,

I returned to camp,

Happy with my hunt.
