yes, I realize the irony publishing this on a social platform. I choose to wield the sword for good.
Social media, a double-edged sword, fosters superficial connections, validates narcissism, and erodes genuine human interaction in exchange for short-lived highs and dopamine thrills. Its addictive design exploits attention, fuels echo chambers, and undermines privacy. A breeding ground for misinformation and cyberbullying, it's time we reflect on its true societal cost.

Family Affair
Hey everyone, I am going to start an on-going new series of critiques on old television shows that I grew up on back in the late sixties and the seventies. The first one is 'Family Affair' starring Brian Keith and Sebastian Cabot who played Mr. Bill Davis and Mr. French. This was the story of a bachelor uncle and his gentlemen's gentleman who was found to take care of his two nieces and a nephew. Many of the situations that being that this program was a situation comedy would cover subjects like how a single 'father' raised children to issues like the one that I just watched dealing with 'latchkey children'.

Catherine reminds me of an enigma wrapped within a riddle. When she writes, she skips between the poetic and the dramatic. Her highlights of the African lifestyles of herself, of authors whom she admires, and the many nuances of love keeps you wondering and pondering the passage of life.

Agreed. Nicely put E.K. While I still use social media, I don’t as much as I use to, yet Vocal itself seems to be a good antidote to still be social, but with people with many shared interests. ☺️
