In fair Verona

Two lovers, star-crossed by fate

Doomed ere their woeful tale begins

Two households bear the weight

For lives lost to a tragic end.

The brilliant Bard, he spun it well

A tale retold throughout the years

‘Twil wrap you in a thin guised spell

And gift you bountiful with tears.
