The Sky Behind the Sky
Every night at midnight, the purple clouds came out to dance with the blushing sky. They arrived from the East, billowing or scattered in threads, each changing shape with seemingly rhythmic intent. Sometimes they sped through their movements, other times they savored each slow twirl but more often it was a mixture of both, weaving a story like a symphony would. The students of the University’s Musical Arts program composed songs inspired by the midnight clouds for this very reason. Few were ever very good.

Family Affair
Hey everyone, I am going to start an on-going new series of critiques on old television shows that I grew up on back in the late sixties and the seventies. The first one is 'Family Affair' starring Brian Keith and Sebastian Cabot who played Mr. Bill Davis and Mr. French. This was the story of a bachelor uncle and his gentlemen's gentleman who was found to take care of his two nieces and a nephew. Many of the situations that being that this program was a situation comedy would cover subjects like how a single 'father' raised children to issues like the one that I just watched dealing with 'latchkey children'.

What traditions are you most thankful for and why? Rupi Kaur's Gratitude Writing Prompts 1. Enormous Gratitude for the return of religious freedom for American Indians in 1978. The same year I got into recovery. That year I could smudge, go into the sweat lodge, attend full-moon ceremony, pipe ceremony, wiping of tears ceremony, and others.
