University football is followed by millions of avid fans. As such, it only makes sense that these fans would want to stay up-to-date on their teams, as well as other top teams. That’s exactly what we’re going to look at here: university football teams to keep an eye on in coming games.

Aid for College Athletes

It’s worth starting off with the reminder that university athletes lead an extraordinarily impressive lifestyle. Not only are they some of the best new talent on the field, but they’re also holding down a heavy class load as well. Garnering national attention for athletic performance while working toward a degree is no easy feat.

So, for all the college athletes reading, don’t forget to ask for help when you need to. There are plenty of academic resources that can save you time and stress. An essay writing service, for instance, can help you figure out complicated papers. They cover a lot of topics too, so any major is open to use them. In addition, don’t hesitate to use on-campus resources, such as supplemental instruction and tutoring sessions.

Brigham Young University Cougars

Brigham Young University is located in Provo, Utah. Their women’s American soccer team holds a few different accolades. They’ve ranked in the top 25 of the NCAA consistently and many consider it the best women’s team on the west coast. The Cougars were first established in 1995 and since then, they’ve made it to the NCAA Women’s Soccer Championships 18 times. Two of those appearances led as far as the quarterfinals. 38 of the players in that time have earned the honorific title of All-American Athletes for being outstanding players.

Durham University

Let’s skip over the UK for a European football team. Durham University boasts five football teams. The men’s first team had an impressive 2015/2016 season with a Men’s Premier North League first place win. They also made it to the semi-finals of the Men’s Championships that year. We’ve also seen some impressive players come from the team. Ben Dudzinski joined Hartlepool United in 2016 and, before that, Jonny Giles signed on with Oxford United in 2014. This is a streak we’re likely to see more of in the future.

Durham University’s women’s first team isn’t unimpressive either. They won second in the 2015/2016 Women’s Championships and first in the Women’s Premier North League the same year.

Clemson University Tigers

Over in the US, we saw the Clemson University Tigers get into some hot water over a hazing scandal in 2014. That doesn’t mean that their women’s soccer team isn’t one of the best in the States. They’ve made it to the Division I NCAA Women’s Soccer Championships 17 times. They even won the Atlantic Coast Conference.

This is another team we’ve seen notable players come from. Ashley Phillips, Lydia Vandenbergh, and Beth Keller are highly praised. Kailen Sheridan from the Canadian national team and Nuria Zufia from the Spain national team also got their start with the Clemson Tigers.

Cardiff Metropolitan University

To finish off with another European football team, Cardiff Metropolitan University is one to watch out for. In the 2015/2016 season, both the women’s and men’s first team made a memorable mark. The women’s team won the Women’s Premier South League match and were semi-finalists in the Women’s Championships. The men’s team earned a spot as a semi-finalist in the Men’s Championships and won a solid third place in the Men’s Premier South League.

Conclusion

Competition between college football teams is always stiff. In the coming future, be sure to keep an eye on these teams because they show signs of continued excellence.
