The 28 years old has been keeping his card close to his chest, and has been reluctant to reveal anything about his future.

“To be honest, I am very happy, I enjoy myself. The premier league is back, I play football again after a nice holiday, so it is very, very good. Pogba told Norwegian media outlet TV2 ahead prior to united recent clash against wolves at the end of the last month.

When you get to the final and lose it, it is always very painful. Now we are hungry to do better than last season and we want to win a trophy.

I’m happy. To be honest, I’m glad I’m feeling good. I’m healthy, I have no injuries and I’m happy, even if I would prefer to win the last game [against Southampton]. It’s all about winning.”

United are set to face David Moyes side again in the third round of EFL cup on Wednesday.

The red devil will then welcome Aston Villa to old Trafford in the early kick-off on Saturday.
