Mohamed Salah and His Great Records in a Liverpool Shirt

The Egyptian star played a crucial role in Liverpool's Premier League titles in the 2019/20 and 2014/25 seasons. More than just a goal-scoring machine, Salah became the heart and soul of the Anfield team's attacking style.

Mohamed Salah Becomes Liverpool's Greatest Striker in the Premier League

One of Salah's most memorable milestones was surpassing legendary Robbie Fowler to become Liverpool's all-time Premier League goalscorer.

This milestone was reached in the historic 7-0 victory against Manchester United in March 2023 at Anfield. Currently, Salah has scored a total of 193 Premier League goals, including 191 for Liverpool.

Only Alan Shearer, Harry Kane, and Wayne Rooney are ahead of him on the Premier League's all-time scoring list.

The Greatest African Player in the Premier League

Salah is currently the highest-scoring African player in Premier League history. Not only that, he also has the most assists among African players in the league.

Legendary Didier Drogba and his former teammate Sadio Mane both had illustrious careers, but Salah has created a significant gap in statistics and influence.

He is not only the pride of Liverpool but also a great source of inspiration for millions of fans in Africa and the Middle East.

Salah's Crazy 2024/25 Season

The 2024/25 season can be considered one of the best individual seasons in Premier League history. Salah scored 29 goals and provided 18 assists, creating a total of 47 direct contributions to goals.

This number breaks the previous record of 38 matches held by Thierry Henry and Erling Haaland in the Premier League era.

In addition, Salah also became the first player to win both awards simultaneously:

in the same season.

Mohamed Salah Still Has a Record He Can Break

Despite already achieving numerous historical milestones, Salah still has a chance to set one last record before leaving Liverpool.

He currently has 92 assists for Liverpool in the Premier League, equaling the record of legend Steven Gerrard. If he adds one more assist in his final game, Salah will become the player with the most assists in Liverpool's Premier League history.

That made his farewell match even more special than ever.

Records Outside the Premier League

Salah not only dominates England, but also makes a strong impression on the European stage.

He is the first African player to score 50 goals in the UEFA Champions League and also holds the record for most European appearances for Liverpool.

One of the most memorable moments was the hat-trick in just 6 minutes and 12 seconds against Rangers in the 2022 Champions League — the fastest in the tournament's history.
