Golf in Europe has a history of more than 600 years, data shows that there are 6,821 courses in Europe, including England 2682, Germany 731, and France 602, Europe has many of the world's top 100 courses waiting for you to explore! The United Kingdom is recognized by most people as the birthplace of golf, since the 15th century from the first course to date about 2682 golf courses, including 1872 in England, 560 in Scotland, 145 in Wales and 105 in Northern Ireland, the earliest appearance of golf in the United Kingdom was in 1457 in St. Andrews, Scotland, and later to 1607 to England, and today Golf is a very popular sport in England, and the number of courses is quite large. In the early days, golf was mostly played among the princes and nobles. As the popularity of golf equipment developed, the game became popular with the middle class.

By the 20th century, the rules and system of golf were established and international golf tournaments were widely played. golf was introduced to Asia in the 1820s and to China in 1896, marked by the establishment of the Shanghai Golf Club in China. One of the oldest golf clubs on the island of Ireland, one of the most beautiful courses in the world, and one of the most challenging courses in the world are three of the most commonly used "best" descriptions of this course. The heather and bougainvillea-fringed fairways twist and turn beneath huge dunes, and the delicately contoured greens are surrounded by weedy bunkers. It is a paradise with breathtaking views, and the golfing is even more thrilling.

4. Adare Manor, Ireland

Adare Manor, the site of the 2026 Ryder Cup, was built in 1995 and has hosted many events such as the Irish Open and the Irish Pro Tour. In addition to the golf course, Adare Manor itself is an architect's masterpiece and is known as one of Ireland's six mysterious old castles. A luxury spa, equestrian center, and top restaurants are all available.

Waterville is a seaside resort that separates Ireland's most beautiful lake, Lough Currane, from the Atlantic Ocean, and where fishing and golf are the hallmarks of the course, which is a "treasure trove" of fairways, each with its unique charm and challenge. 6. LesBordes, France

This beautiful 1986-designed and built course is set in the Loire Valley, with the wonderful lakes of the Sologne region of France flowing past the majority of holes on the course, creating a sense of unity in the sky. It is recognized as the toughest course in Europe, where you can get your name engraved on the wall by scoring an 80! Les Bordes has also been described as the Augusta of Europe. Unfortunately for the majority of fans, however, it is private and not open to the public only to members; but there is good news, the new owner of the course intends to build a second course and hotel open to the public.

7. Morfontaine, France

Referring to the original design almost a century ago, this course in the north of Paris has benefited from a redesign by Kyle Phillips in recent years. It has a quintet of short pars and the course stretches through picturesque forests. Private and sophisticated, this course is a great place to see.

8. Biella, Italy

Located between the cities of Milan and Turin, this beautiful par-73 course is built on rolling hills next to the hills of the Alps. It is also known as "LeBetulle" because of its centuries-old birch trees. In 2006, it hosted the European Individual Amateur Championship, which was won by McIlroy.
