Everything You Need to Know About Soccer Field
Soccer Field Dimensions
What are the dimensions of a football field? Here is the run down of the dimensions of all the different parts of the football field from the penalty box to the corner area. All football pitches must have the same dimensions or at least be very close together. There may be some differences in the width and length of the football field, the standard measurements are listed below.
Dimensions of the football field
The football field can be 90 to 120 meters (100-131 yards) in length and 45 to 90 meters (49-100 yards) in width.
Corner Area 1 Yard, where the player can move the ball inside while taking a corner kick
In the penalty box (18 yard box), the goalie can touch the football with his hands and receive a penalty kick if a player fouls in this area.
Goal box (6 yard box) Small box inside the penalty box where the goalkeeper puts the ball for the goal kick
The center circle is a ten-yard line on either side of the semicircle, where the footballers must be outside when kicking the ball at the start of the game.
Goal size 24 feet wide and 8 feet high
12 yards from penalty spot goal; Where fines are imposed
The ball can go out for a corner kick or goal kick at the finish line of the goal line football field.
According to the rules of the game, football matches can be played on natural or artificial surfaces.
The color of the artificial surfaces should be green. (Fortunately this is a requirement, otherwise you may find lower level clubs trying to buy attention to changing the color of the floor!)
If artificial surfaces are used in competitions between representative teams of FIFA affiliated teams or international club competitions, the surface must meet the requirements of the FIFA quality concept for football turf or international artificial turf standards. By FIFA.
Football Ground Signs
Playground should be rectangular and marked with lines. These lines belong to the areas where they are bordered.
Two long boundary lines are called tangent lines. Two short lines are called goal lines.
The playing field is divided into two parts by a half line connecting the midpoints of the two tangents.
The center mark is at the midpoint of the half line. A circle with a radius of 9.15 m (10 yards) is drawn around it.
When a corner kick is taken, defensive players can score 9.15m (10 kits) from the corner curve outside the field of play and at right angles to the goal lines and touch lines to ensure they retreat this distance.
The dimensions of the football field continued ...
The length of the tangent line should be greater than the length of the goal line.
Length: (Touch Line): Minimum 90m (100kg) Maximum 120m (130kg)
Width: (Target line): Minimum 45 m (50 coins) Maximum 90 m (100 coins)
All lines should be the same width, not exceeding 12 cm (5 inches).
International Football Tournament
Length: Minimum 100 m (110 yds) Maximum 110 m (120 yds)
Width: Minimum 64 m (70 kits) Maximum 75 m (80 kits)
Goal Area
Two lines are drawn at right angles to the goal line 5.5 m (6 kits) from the inside of each goal post.
These lines extend 5.5 m (6 yds) across the playground and are connected by a line drawn parallel to the goal line. The area controlled by these lines and goal lines is the target area.
Penalty section
Two lines are drawn at right angles to the goal line at a distance of 16.5 m (18 yds) from the inside of each goalpost.
These lines extend 16.5 m (18 yds) across the playground and are connected by a line drawn parallel to the goal line.
The area controlled by these lines and the goal line is the penalty area.
Within each penalty area, a penalty is marked 11 m (12 kits) from the midpoint.
Colposts and the equivalent distance to them.
The curve of a circle with a radius of 9.15 m (10 kits) is drawn outside the penalty area from the center of each penalty mark.
Flag Posts
At each corner, place a flagpole not less than 1.5 m (5 ft) high, with a dotted top and a flag.
Flag posts can be placed at each end of the half line, not less than 1 m (1 yd) outside the tangent line.
Corner Arch
A circle with a radius of 1 m (1 yd) from each corner flagpole is drawn into the playground.
Goals
A goal should be placed in the center of each goal line.
A goal is to have two upright posts at equal distances from the flagpoles in the corner and connected by a horizontal cross bar at the top.
Colposts and cross-sections shall be made of wood, metal or other approved materials.
They should be square, rectangular, round or elliptical and should not be dangerous to players.
The distance between the pillars is 7.32 m (8 ft) and the distance from the lower edge of the cross bar to the floor is 2.44 m (8 ft).
Security
Targets must be securely anchored to the ground. Portable goals can only be used if this requirement is met.
