Arsenal starting XI for next season - if the transfer news is true
Gabriel Jesus, Calvert Lewin make critical move
Arsenal only have four premier league fixtures to secure their top four spot and qualify for UEFA champions league next season.
Arsenal are in to recruit more forward and midfield players to play strategic positions, particularly at the forward position where they are being linked to several big names in England, Spain and France.
The finalization of those they will sign at the end of the summer will go a long way in determining whether they will qualify for the UEFA champions league, having in mind they only have four games remaining for the season.
Arteta men will be facing relegating Leeds United this coming Sunday May 8, before facing a tougher rival Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday May 12. This could certainly go a long way in checking their position at the fourth postion.
Then Arteta side will be be completing the 2021/22 premier league season with Newcastle United and Everton at their home base.
Once the dust has been decided favourable, then it will be time to focus more on the transfer window in making sure only the best and most trustworthy are brought to Emirates.
The top priority at the moment is the signing of one or two strikers to help in delivering goals at the front - but we won't be ruling out the need for a good defender and midfielder as well.
Below is how Mikel Arteta men could line up for the first game of 2022/2023 season based on prominent transfer rumours in the past few weeks:
1. GK - Aaron Ramsdale
The England international will probably be given another chance at the Emirates after an excellent performance last season.
2. RB - Djed Spence
The Gunners are keenly interested in the right-back player after performing well on a loan at Nottingham forest. It is reported that a £20 fee is enough to move the player in Emirates.
3. CB - Ben White
Mikel Arteta need to strengthen up-front and could do this with midfielder reinforcement but there is a great dept in defence led by £50 former Brighton star.
4. CB - Gabriel Magalhaes
The Brazilian has had his best season after signing for the club in 2020. Though they may need hold off clubs such as Man U and Juventus who had shown interest on the player.
5. LB Kieran Tierney
The Scotland left-back was well fit and excellent through out the season and his emerging as a world class footballer soon. There are rumours that he is been ripped to take on the captain badge next season.
6. CM - Renato Sanches
Renato Sanches is one of the popular players Premier league will forever remember from the time he played for Swansea. He is a key part of Lille's Ligue one winning team and Portugal national team. He's a much sought player in Europe currently.
7. CM - Mohamed Elneny
Eleny is another who is having a great time in Emirates. The Egyptian player was praised for his leading role against West Ham 2 - 1 win last weekend.
8. CM - Martin Odegaard
Martin is widely tipped to be next captain of the team despite been only 23 years.
9. ST - Bukayo Saka
The skillful England international could be one of three who will play the attacking position on either left or right. Though this will depend on who Arsenal is bringing to the squad.
10. ST - Dominic Calvert Lewin
Lewin is reportedly leaving Everton this summer and he is a favourite of Arsenal signing this coming season.
11. ST - Gabriel Jesus
The coming of Gabriel Jesus to Arsenal will depend if City will bring Haaland in. Arteta side are in watch to make sure they act quickly within the slightest opportunity they have.
