Who Are the Most Hated Footballer Players?

In this volume (one) of the most hated football players in the US, we shall be focusing on the 5 players who drive the most hate from fans all across England and Europe as a whole. Whether it be On and off the field, the players who made this list have demonstrated quiet some profound deficiencies both in character and morality as well. Whether it be just through perpetual diving on the pitch or portraying some questionable behavior off the field, they need to be named and called out to set an example for all freshmen sports-pupil both male and female out there.

This compiled list only does include currently active footballers. It also for some reason includes many players both from the English Premier League and Spanish La-Liga just as well. These popular leagues With the largest audiences in the world includes the most hated players.

Occasionally, this hatred might as well be undeserved. For example, some of the footballers who do play for some of the biggest teams or clubs in the world are more prone to being hated by its rival fans. If for some reason a number of football players from your favorite club or the team you support are included here on this list, do take it as a compliment that your team has the ability to rile up the opposition!

5. Diego Costa

Diego Costa or D-Costa as he is popularly called, is notoriously known for having quiet the bad temper and frequently lashing out at other players, this usually results in several charges for violent conduct and behavior, many of those charges for stamping on his opponents. Costa usually appears to be engaging in psychological warfare during football games, in which most often he attempts or appears to create the confrontations he is involved in. Following up with with this, Kurt Zouma (Costa's Chelsea Football teammate at that time) once did admit back in 2015 that D-Costa likes to cheat. The lack of both honor and integrity this involves is probably the reason why he taunted Seamus Coleman concerning his own goal back in 2014 and also why, despite his "Tough man" image, he can be usualy seen to simulate being injured when there is just only minimal contact.

4. Sergio Busquets

In so many ways like his Barcelona teammates back at that time, Dani Alves and Pedro to mention a few, Sergio Busquets did take simulation to new heights of disgust. Their spectacular antics made many football fans despise and hate Barcelona as a team, which is unforgivable if you ask many. Be that as it may, Busquets is considered the worst of the bunch for the very simple reason that he tends to dive far more often and frequently and for far more innocuous oppositions. In the exposed video below, you can actually see him in the process of his cheating antics. This and many others have earned him a rather well deserved spot on the list of the most hated football players

3. Raheem Sterling

Just at the age of 20, Sterling was quiet fast to grab the money and leave the team that made him a known star (Liverpool). After he had initially rejected the advances of Manchester City at the time, Liverpool were forced into making the move when Raheem Sterling appeared to fake an illness just to get out of his training's. After the move was finalized, he was seriously booed by fans.

Sterling also did grab his England team-mate, Joe Gomez, by his neck in 2019 and asked him if for any reason he still thinks he was "still the big deal." He later did claim upon being exposed that "He let his emotions to get the better of him" but was later subsequently dropped from the English squad. Given that he is still quiet the young player, I expect that certainly Sterling's emotions will also get the best of him and lead to more incidents like this in future.

Finally, We cannot close without saying this, it's worth also mentioning Sterling's diving because, as we know and have seen while there are worse actors (or should we rather say good ones?), he is still way up there with the best of the bunch. As the video below will enlighten.

2. Ashley Young

Ashley Young as a footballer probably signed for Inter Milan back in 2020 to assist him in his plight to escape his rather notorious reputation in England, and that is due to the fact that poor Ashley has so much trouble staying on his feet. One may say maybe, just maybe he has an enduring inner ear problem? More likely and prone to it, he has developed this disgusting high tendency to cheat whenever the opportunity presents itself. The stats of this one speak for themselves. Young did win 11 penalties in a total of 200 Premier League games just before the end of 2012 season, and he continued his 'losing his stand' streak in later seasons to follow.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with winning penalties when you're really genuinely fouled, but to note-even his own manager at the time, Sir Alex Ferguson, said he did fall rather dramatically for one of the penalties which he won for his club Manchester United back in the 2011–12 season. In the 2013–14 season, he was in the same manner also cautioned by David Moyes about his diving antics. Other managers and pundits as well have been quiet less careful with their words, openly and blatantly tagging him a cheater and diver. He has been booked a lot of times in his career for just pointless diving.

2. Eden Hazard

Eden, despite not being a terrible diver its its right (he still does it), one of Eden Hazard's worst moments to remember came back in 2013 when he for no good reason kicked a ball boy to retrieve the ball. This caused a lot of hate at the time for Eden.

Off the football field, Hazard's ego and his sense of entitlement have likewise also been very apparent. Before he moved to Chelsea, he once did appear in a video where he showcased cards with his team names on them, and let his facial expressions portrayed in the video indicate whether or not he would come to them (assuming they all wanted him to do so). What's more, Eden Hazard has already self-determined that he will again return back to Chelsea after his "Play-time at Real Madrid was over," out-rightly disrespecting Real Madrid's fans and egotistically assuming Chelsea without a choice will have him back at that age. Quiet bold wouldn't you say?

Hazard's 2019 move to new team Real Madrid also seemed to appear more like a money-making decision than an attempt at something greater as he arrived quiet overweight and not willing to put in the necessary and needed effort on and off the pitch to be better for the team, scoring just one goal in an injury-heavy season, this has left many journalists calling him a joke and questioning if he was indeed a sign-in mistake of the season. Eden has ever since grown in the list of most hated football players even in countryside.
