"You're right, I don't understand". Shaking my head I said "I don't understand why you made that call seconds after me waking up. I don't understand why you would betrayed your barely dead sister like that. I don't understand why you didn't tell me to run. Instead you took one look at me and decided that I was a threat that needed to be taken care of. I also don't understand why you or someone you work for took the one thing that could give me what I've always wanted in life away."

"You. Are. Not. My. Family. My family died September 13, 2013. My sister, my brother in law, and their baby died on the side of the road. My niece the girl who's body you're inhabiting was pronounced D.O.A. by the time the paramedics brought her to the hospital. At first I thought it was a miracle that she was still alive. Then I found out that her body was used to host you instead. All the doctors and staff that witnessed your birth were scared shitless and had to be relocated to the closest base. Then they had to be placed here in this building to continue living. I made that call when I saw for my own eyes that my niece's body was used as a host. I took the correct actions. I did my job. You are just a parasite that took over my niece's body and memories."

"PARASITE!" Nightmare roared slamming her against the wall. Giving her a moment to recollect herself I seethed "That doesn't give you or anyone else the right to hunt me down like I'm some rapid animal and sterilize me!"

"You are an animal. I've seen what you did with the teams that were assigned to capture you. Do I even need to mention what happened on the night that you were captured?"

Her words brought so many memories with them. I saw face of people I had to kill to stay alive. Some of them I can recall clearly. Others all I saw was the terror in their eyes. You did what you had to do Nightmare told me. Knowing that Nightmare did the same brought a bit of comfort. "Non of that should've happened in the first place" I told Anderson.

Anderson remarked "There's been a file on you since my niece's Junior year of high school."

Taken aback I may have gasped at that statement. She continued "I'm honestly surprised that you remember or even know of that incident."

"I know about it because I lived through it" I growled.

"You only think that because you're a parasite that infected my adopted father. Who passed it down to my sister and then she unknowingly did so to her daughter. When I heard about what happened to my niece in school I used all my connections to keep her out of prison."

My whole body shuddered with memories of that day; I was in the girl's locker room about to leave when the three J's came in. I was already on the phone with my Papi. I said our code phrase 'red nails' then put the phone on speaker. My memory goes black after Jorge grabs me to say "Whatever you say".

Don't let her get under your skin Nightmare told me. Coming back to reality I started tapping my fingers on my thumb while taking deep breathes.

Grabbing a hold of Anderson's jaw I said "If I really am a parasite that transferred between bodies only to lay dormant until a little over a decade ago then why do I know that your favorite color is green. You were a child when my granddad adopted you. You busted your ass to get where you are in life and your career. As for Junior year that's a low blow especially from you. So tell me how the hell would an alien being know all that?"

"What makes you think I'll ever answer or believe a word you say?" she muffled.

Would it bother you if I killed her now? Nightmare asked me. Frustrated I replied I'll say it again 'We need her alive and preferably in one piece'.

Coming to the realization that everything I say from now on will fall on deaf ears I exhaled slowly. Letting my shoulders fall I let go of Anderson completely. Walking backward to the door again a quote from her rang in my head 'Never turn your back on an enemy'. Taking one last look into her eyes eyes which still looked black instead of the deep dark brown they actually are I said "I'm done with you."

With both door locked I turned around to slid to the floor and cried.
