When Heaven Took My Mother
A brief poem about grief, love, and the emptiness a mother leaves behind. 💔

When heaven took my mother,
the world lost its warmest light.
Her laughter still echoes in my silence,
but her presence is gone from my sight.
I call her name in empty moments,
but only memories answer me back.
Every corner of life feels heavier,
as if the air itself turned black.
I smile outside, but inside I’m broken,
like a flower left without rain.
And still I wait in quiet hope,
for her love to ease my pain.
If heaven allows a single moment,
I would hold her once again.
But stars don’t open their doors for wishes,
and time doesn’t listen to tears.
So I carry her in my heartbeat,
through all my silent years.
She is the prayer I never stop saying,
the reason I still stand and try.
Even in loss, she is my forever,
my mother… beyond the sky.💔
