The Seamstress of Starlight
She didn’t mend clothes — she repaired constellations.

In a village built under a mountain sky, a seamstress named Celeste spent her nights sewing dresses for the townsfolk and her days gazing upward, stitching invisible patterns into the air.
No one knew her secret: every night, she climbed the tallest hill with a silver needle, threading light into the torn patches of the heavens. She could hear the stars whisper when they dimmed, begging to be made whole again.
One evening, the North Star flickered and went dark. Celeste climbed higher than she ever had, her fingers bleeding as she wove threads of light between the remaining constellations.
The climax: When dawn broke, the star blazed anew — but Celeste was gone. Only her needle remained, suspended in the sky, still glowing. Some say it became a new star — the Seamstress’s Lantern.
