In the heart of Ajaton, a medieval town nestled between hills and ancient forests, stood a curious shop known as "Mystic Vaz". It's owner, a mysterious lady named Eloisa, was known throughout the land for her peculiar and strange stories.

One crisp autumn, a young traveler found himself drawn to the mysterious shop. Zuriel was never one to visit strange looking inn or shop while on one of his endless travels but for some reason he couldn't resist entering.

The shop was a labyrinth of hidden passages and forgotten artifacts. it looked bigger on the inside and the air was thick with the scent of dried herds. A lady emerged form the shadows, her eyes twinkling like distant starts.

"Welcome dear traveler", she greeted with a knowing smile. "What can I do for you?"

So much for an old lady, thought Zuriel. The lady standing next to him was nothing short of young and beautiful. "I seek a place to pass the night"

An hour later, Zuriel was well rested and feed. He Sat by the fire and watched as Elowen the lady who greeted him earlier, chats with her grandmother, the shop owner who later came in and agreed to host Zuriel. They were saying something about an enchanted hourglass. Legend had it that the hourglass holds the power to turn back time itself.

"If I can get to the hourglass, I will go back and stop mother from going to the town that day and then she wouldn't have to die." Elowen's eyes glistened with unshed tears but the smile never left her face. "But even at that the hourglass with all its power, cannot undo the intricacies of destiny.

Eloisa nodded her head. "It may create ripple that could lead to unintended consequences". If I could bring your mama back, you know I would give my own life for hers, She was a daughter impossible not to love, and I miss her every passing second.

"That's okay grandma," Eloisa said with a smile so warm it could melt glass. "Instead of seeking to change the past and bring harm to thousands of people just for my own selfish interests, I would rather honor mother's memory by carrying her love and wisdom and helping people in a way that would make her proud, in that way, she will always be a part of our lives.

Back at the fireplace, Zuriel sat with his head down lock in an inner battle. He had never contemplated the weight of his decision before , but here he was pondering whether he should follow in the footsteps of the brave young girl he barely knew.

Zuriel had embarked on a journey with one purpose in mind: to find the hourglass and turnback time to correct the tragic mistake that had taken his young wife from him and absolving himself form his guilt. But until now, he had never truly considered the consequences of such a profound act.

As he listened to the young girl, her wisdom, her love for her mother, and consideration for others, he knew that he could not continue this journey. He knew what he had to do now, and he was certain Liza would be proud of him.

Meanwhile the two women continued to chatter and laugh blissfully unaware of the near miss catastrophe they had narrowly stopped. Zuriel knew he would cross part with Elowen again and he felt their destiny interwoven in a way he could not tell. He could feel it.

The enchanted hourglass continued to remain a mystery as all who sought it always ended up changing their mind mysteriously. It became a reminder that some secrets were meant to be hidden, and some desires were best left unfulfilled.
