“And so the Council of Wolves gathered before the blood stained wolf, there the three white wolves and red wolf of the farther clans heard the young wolf’s plea. He cried he only wished to be accepted but this crime was too much as it crossed the boundaries of nature. The red wolf calmly proclaimed he would never accept a black wolf, that there and then the black wolves would carry a single curse from now till the end of time. All who were born of their blood would contain the same blood rage that consumed the young wolf and they would be cursed with the same blood red eyes that afflicted the young wolf as well but some will rise as that would be the only mercy the red wolf would give. The morning that rose after the night of revelry and joy, a night Torta hid behind booze and women to hide his deepest pain that he lost his own wife to his oath and love for his brother. He awoke to find the camp all in movement, to stow all rations and equipment upon the ships of the elven people, fashioned for their trips between worlds back when the Watcher allowed the Bifrost be open to all worlds freely. As the rising dawn glared into Torta’s eyes, he could do nothing but take a deep breath of relief as he began to realize this would be the final voyage to Midgard and he could be free of this duty. Torta quickly realized he was the first to awaken this fateful day and quickly jaunted over to the tower, a small tower built in a day of random material from the nearby trees which housed the horn of the tribe or otherwise known as the House Horn which was used to call forth the elven house’s forces to attack or gather for battle so Torta took a deep breath and blew upon the horn to awaken his people.

Torta takes a moment and blinks then wipes his eyes with his hand as if trying to remove sleep from it as he stands before a grand forest with the most exquisite trees and animals dancing about. As the young elf sighs and shakes his head, he takes a step forward and the almost mirage like image fades to a bustling camp with the raucous sound of weapons being prepared by the elven smiths and warriors practicing their sword play with some of the fae servants and slaves. One in particular, a strong looking fae man with a dull sword and wooden shield stood before a shirtless elf who stood a good head taller with a muscle bound form that was uncommon for the elven folk and a shocking set of red locks that framed his battle scared face. The elf swung with one of his two swords upon the fae and as it connected with the fae’s shield, splintering a corner of the wood, the elf almost seemed to float around the fae and take his other blade close enough to the fae man’s throat but stopped before contact.

The Whispering Forest
art writing...The Whispering Forest. The name came to me without warning, as though it had been pulled from thin air. Gnarled branches of ancient trees, resembling the fingers of deities, towered above the ground. The air smelled like moss and damp earth, and the bark of the trees itself seemed to be humming quietly and almost unnoticed. With my boots crushing gently underneath, I moved forward carefully. Every sound of rustling leaves and the far-off cry of nocturnal animals was amplified in the silence, heightening my senses. The crystal orb was securely gripped, illuminating the path with a subtle glow created by its brightness. The murmuring became louder as I advanced more into the forest; it was like a symphony of quiet whispers tumbling through the grassland. The forest appeared to be alive, observing and conversing with me. A mixture of interest and fear surge through my heart. As I was unaware of the threat that lingered in the background of this discovery. Finally, I came to a spot where a tiny, sparkling pool of water, it's surface was covered with a silvery sheen as moonlight drenched through the above. I squatted next to it, looking down into its depths. With concentration and eyes wide, my reflection was seen in the immaculately clean water. A shadow flashed at the edge of my vision, yet there was more than just that in the reflection. I looked over my shoulder, with my breath stuck in my throat. Even though the jungle was silent, the whispering had become louder and more persistent. The voices seemed to be saying, "Seek the truth," in a chorus of anxious whispers. "But beware the darkness that lies within." I stood up abruptly and looked around the bush, my grip tightening on the orb. At the edge of the water,my gaze was drawn to a massive, old tree whose bark was covered with odd, luminous designs that pulsed with a sinister light. As I got closer, a strong burst of wind blew across the bush, rustling the leaves and sending shivers once more down my spine as I reached out to touch the symbols. The whispering voices intensified, their words a disordered cacophony that filled my head, and the symbols grew brighter. "Evelyn..." Fear shining through my eyes, I turned around. The voice that had greeted was distinct, brisk, and different. It was the voice of the stranger who'd spoken to me in my apartment. From the shadows he appeared, his eyes glittering with an array of hatred and curiosity. He spoke in a smooth, cold voice, "You've come a long way. But are you really aware of what you're looking for? You cannot comprehend the power you possess in your hands." I stepped backwards, and said with a shaky but resolute voice "What do you want from me?" With a slow, hunting smile, the stranger grinned. "I desire what is rightfully mine," he murmured, keeping his gaze locked on the crystal ball. "The book you weild come with a price, yet it holds the secret to unexplainable power. Can you be able to afford it?" The pool of water rippled and bubbled before I gave a reply, and the ground beneath my feet shook. The symbols on the tree burned with a blinding light, and the murmuring voices became more desperate and louder. Gathering bravery, I faced the unfamiliar person. and responded, "I'll find the truth," in a firm voice despite the fear that filled my chest. "And I'll do whatever it takes to break the curse." The stranger grinned more broadly and stepped forward. "Excellent," he remarked. "Remember, Evelyn, that every decision you make the consequences are inevitable. There is danger on your path, and not everyone who pursues the truth makes it out alive." He then disappeared into the darkness, leaving me by herself in the area. The shaking of the ground ceased, and the murmur of whispering voices subsided. I inhaled deeply, uncertainties and concerns racing through my head. Though the stakes were higher than ever, I realized the need to press on with the journey. And had to proceed cautiously since the jungle held mysteries that may either save or destroy me An unexpected movement drew my attention as I turned to walk away from the area. Looking down into the pool, to see my expression, I saw the face of a young woman, desperate and afraid and my eyes widened in shock. When I extended my hand to touch the water, the reflection disappeared, leaving my own shocked face to stare back at me. With a heart racing, I moved away from the pool. Then soft voices had surfaced again, their words leaving a lingering impression. I felt a need to track down the young lady in order to learn the truth about her relationship to the old book and the mysterious forest. But the ground shook again as I turned to go, and a low, husky growl resounded through the trees. Freezing in panic evident in my face, I grabbed hold of the crystal ball and began to run, the muttering voices getting louder as I went. The trees closed in around me, their branches seems to whisper secrets of old. The feeling of darkness was drawing nearer as I stumbled over roots and rocks with the whispering voices becoming louder and more demanding. A single, intense question racing through my mind, "What lies at the heart of the Whispering Forest?" And the answer seemed to be whispering in the breeze, just out of reach, but excitingly close as she dived deeper into the shadows. The woodland held its breath, anticipating her next move, and Evelyn realized the true test was still ahead. I managed to break out of the underwood and onto another with one last, frantic burst of energy. However, what I had witnessed there chilled my blood. As I journed further, A person covered in darkness stood in the middle of the clearing, its eyes gleaming with a strange light. The whispering voices reached an extremely loud tone as the figure raised a hand. A surge of panic swept over me,but also an odd calmness washed me, as if the forest itself was directing me in the direction of my fate. In spite of the panic that was taking hold of me, I asked in a firm voice. "Who are you?" "And what do you want from me?" With its eyes locked on the crystal orb in my hands, the creature moved forward. "I am the forest's protector," it murmured, a deep, ample echo in its voice. "And the solution to discovering its mysteries lies with you, Evelyn. But heed my warning: the road ahead is dangerous, and the decisions you make will decide our collective fate." I stepped forward, ready to confront the darkness ahead, as the guardian raised its hand again the wood burst into a brilliant blaze of light. Leaving me by myself in the clearing as the light went out, the voices only a faint echo in my head. I inhaled deeply. With one last, desperate burst of vitality I moved on.

The Ancient Tome
Start writing... In the quietness of my small house, I sat at my messy desk, reading the pages of the ancient book with curiosity and anxiety. Joy overshadowed my heart studying the old book. The room emitted the warm glow of candles, creating flickering shadows on the walls. Visions of the mysterious book's spells and symbols had haunted me for weeks. Night after night, I tossed and turned on my bed, haunted by these visions of undiscovered truth and unspoken realities that spoke to my ears like promises of strength and wisdom. However, studying and tracing the intricate patterns engraved into the worn pages of the book, gave a rush of joy that filled my head with limitless opportunities. Knowing I had discovered something that could alter life forever—something much more phenomenal than I could have ever dreamed of. Flipping through the pages, my eyes widened at the secrets each page of the book contained and this sent shivers to my hands. With every spell and incantation read, a pulse of power reached my very soul. On a particular page, my attention was drawn to a single sentence that was written in fine writing at the bottom of the page, and it immediately made me desire with anticipation. "To those who want knowledge," it reads, "beyond the limits of mortal understanding, be careful, for the path you walk is full of danger and deception." Running the fingers over those words, a sense of commitment and anxiety came alive; feeling my mind with worries and questions. What great knowledge was hidden behind these symbols on the pages of the book? What danger waited ahead on the path of acquiring such lost knowledge? When I was ready to explore the ancient book mysteries further, an unexpected knock on the door erupted, panic. Who could it be at this late hour? And what did they want from me? I walked across the room quietly and cautiously peeking through the peephole, gasping with an open mouth in shock at what I saw behind the door. A man was standing behind the streetlamp's gentle light, his stature imposing and his features hidden by the darkness. For a moment I hesitate, danger and deceit racing through my mind. Then I unlocked the door and swung it open, with desperation-driven determination. Staring at the mysterious stranger with a mix of fear and curiosity. The man looked at me with a sly expression in his eye and murmured, "Good evening, Miss," in a melodic and sweet voice. I apologize for the interruption, but I noticed the light coming from your window. I was wondering if you could possibly assist me with a small but important issue." Multiple questions ran through my mind, my heart was pounding with fear on hearing the man's words. What was his intention when he approached me, and who was he? Was there a connection between the mysterious book and his abrupt appearance? But before I could respond, the man reached out and gently took my hand on his own. His touch sent a shiver down my spine, then he leaned close and whispered something that made me feel even colder. He said, menacingly and in a low voice, "You have something that belongs to me," gazing coldly into my eyes. "And I will recover it at all costs." At once, I fell backwards, a feeling of dread gushed over, my heart pounding and pumping in my chest as I tried to figure out what was going on. Without saying a word, I turned and ran into the darkness, with a heart filled with panic but the weight of the man's gaze was greatly felt from behind. I didn't stop to think that my steps might lead me into a more dangerous web as she ran into the dark and thick woods. Moments later, I was standing on the forest's edge in the murky light of morning, staring down at the ancient book tightly held. Still troubled by what had happened the previous night, I felt cold running down my body when she remembered the stranger's terrifying statement. However, I entered the forest, my footsteps quietly resonating on the pathway that was covered in leaves. Moving farther into the shadows, the smell of earth and pine filled the air, and the gentle sound of leaves rustling overhead served as a reminder of the forces that hid in the shadows. After drowning in an ocean of confusion, a bright light illuminated the forest. In fear I raised my right arm to shade my eyes from the brightness trying to understand what was happening, the light vanished, much as it had appeared.I was standing in front of a stunning stone gateway adorned with sigils and old marks that seemed to light up with a gentle, ethereal radiance as my eyes adjusted to the darkness. In awe, I stepped through the door into the large, golden-hued space. The air smelled of old magic and incense, excitedly I took in the images in front of me. At the center of the chamber was a large stone pedestal with a sparkling crystal ball that seemed to radiate power beyond description. Carefully, with my fingers shaking with fear and excitement as she reached out to touch the ball. Suddenly a voice reverberated across the room, chill ran down my spine because my fingertips just touched the smooth surface of the ball. The voice said, "Greetings, Seeker of Knowledge." Deep and strong, its spiritual presence permeated the space. "You will get the answers you came here seeking. But be careful—looking for the truth may reveal more than you anticipated." Within the crystal ball, what wonders awaited? What else did the voice mean when it warned? But the chamber wobbled, and the crystal ball whirled wildly on its pedestal before I could respond, making me lurch backward in disbelief, unable to stand up straight. The trembling ceased as suddenly as it had begun, leaving me standing by myself in the quiet chamber, my head whirling at the enormity of what I had just witnessed. But all of a sudden, my fingers twitched with expectation when the feeling of the old power throb beneath my touch, She reached out and touched the crystal orb with desperation-driven intent. On grasping the crystal orb, I was unaware that the surroundings had begun to change, and the room began to shimmer and vanished from sight, while the sound of age-old magic filled the air. For a brief moment the impression that I was floating in a void of whirling light and shadow as colors faded and shapes vanished clouded me. Like the speed of light,I was standing in the middle of a thick forest, the crystal orb throbbing and warm in my hands. What Just happened? I pondered.
