Y’all know I’m crazy about the Greeks, have been since third grade when I did a report on Greece. I’ve reinterpreted some of the mythology: I reject the idea of Persephone as a goddess without agency: controlled by her husband half the year and her mother the other half? Nope. She is the queen of the underworld who left Kore behind when she took her rightful place, and she brings all of her attributes to the underworld, transforming it into a summer palace with terraced slopes and majestic gardens and baths. I’m putting the various pieces I’ve completed here for easy access to everything in this collection.
