He Led Me to the Mountain Top
Where I Found Peace...Where I found him...

I felt as if someone or something was guiding me. My every step had purpose however, I did not know where I was going.
With every footstep I felt more at peace.
The gentle breeze tickled me and made me laugh perhaps urging me to trust and not to be afraid.
I suddenly came across a clearing on a beautiful mountain top.
Something whispered, "you are here" and I slowly sat down.
To my right appeared a young lamb. The white wool gleamed and glistened in the sunlight. Quietly and gently, the lamb sat next to me as if awaiting something or someone.
I felt an amazing warmth of love come over me. I knew I was meant to be here but did not understand how I found my way to this amazing mountain top. I sat there staring down into the valley below me and suddenly began to see people coming out from the trees and a mystical white mist and all began to sit and wait for something or someone.
Suddenly I could see five, then twenty people and then it became hundreds and thousands of men, women and children coming into the valley and some climbing to the mountain top.
Suddenly, a voice that sounded like singing could be heard by us all. A gentle breeze came in and blew a floral scent upon the mountain.
Out of the mist, that rolled in from my right side, appeared a man in white.
I could hear him speak to me but his lips did not move.
He looked deep into my eyes and softly smiled at me as if reassuring me I was safe. He then sat down next to the lamb who never took his eyes off of him, not even for a second.
This angel, this man began to speak to the people who gathered. All could hear him but again, he never moved his lips. We all became intertwined in his words and his message. More and more began to gather and I saw an ocean of people below me in the valley now settling down in the grass. The sun shined brightly above us. The breeze became a symphony of angelic music rustling through the grass and he began to speak again.
I felt this message was for me but I realized it was for all of us. All who were lost. All who failed. All who cried and carried burdens. Those of us who mourned the death of family and friends.
And in this moment, I found peace. The baggage of hurt and pain lifted from my shoulders and I began to cry. A joy rushed into my body and a love I had never felt before suddenly melted onto my head, then my shoulders and covered me.
I turned to my right and saw the white lamb calmly sitting between me and this angel of a man. I looked up at the man and realized he was the one I had been praying to all my life.
He was Jesus.
