Echos from an empty heart
Life fears death’s greatest secret

Time is a lie, you live as though the future is promised, as though every second must be hoarded. But death knows. It knows that, there’s no before nor after. Only now slipping through your fingers. There are grave yards filled with people who thought they had more time.
You scramble to build legacies, to carve your name into history, fearing oblivion but death laughs for it knows no name, no deed, no empire can surpass eternity. The universe will forget just as it has forgotten countless before
Life tells you love is eternal, and bonds transcends even in the grave. But death whispers colder truths. Love is fleeting, fragile, it fades, it wraps, it’s buried under time. Even the deepest devotion crumbles to dust in the end
You fight, you suffer, you chase dreams believing they matter. But death watches and sighs… for it knows, all struggles leads to the same place. Kings and beggars, hero’s and cowards, all wear the same silence in the end ….
Life clings to itself, terrified of the void beyond its borders. But death holds a secret it never speaks aloud. The void is not horror but peace, no pain , no hunger , no sorrow, just quiet… A rest so deep, so final that even fear cannot touch
And then there are those who seek to defy death, to live forever. But a secret lurks around, eternity is a prison. And endless circle of watching, waiting, losing. Immortality is not a gift but a curse worse than death it self……………..
About the Creator
Blessing chukwu
The world spins on, a cruel carousel,
And I am trapped, a puppet in its spell.
Each day a knife, twisting in my soul,
Leaving me hollow, a broken, empty whole……
