A snort expelled from Lanner Redstone’s throat.

“They referred me to you….” he grumbled.

“Yes! I’m here to turn this penny stock into a powerhouse,” Loreen replied.

“I know you go around like you’ve got a cape on your back, making ‘solutions’ for businesses,” he retorted.

“No cape, wings, or utility belt. I’m no super heroine. I’m just a woman who knows how to correct the wrongs that plague a given enterprise. And with speed….”

A smirk and an audible “huh” escaped Redstone’s lips. He looked at her differently, but turned his head and swiveled around his office. It appeared clean and everything had a place, even if it seemed a bit cramped.

Loreen looked around. She brought up her right index finger and whirled it.

“I can even expand this space,” she remarked with supreme positivity.

“You know about stocks?”

“I have a master’s of business administration degree, a master’s of finance, and economics. I know something.” She smiled knowing that she kept him rapt with her understatement.

Redstone chuckled a bit. “Okay. we’re going to be going through data—”

“Yes. You’ve had balanced books for the past decade, respectable numbers, and an option to take this Delaware company national and maybe international.”

“You’re with it,” Redstone admitted.

“I’m a mind reader,” Loreen mentioned with a silent laugh. “No, I just do my work. This is a minor financial foundation of Wilmington. Once we find a way to make the securities organization to be plucked out of the picture, you and your company will enjoy greater liberty.”

“That seems a way off….” Redstone observed.

“Let’s get it rolling, now. By the time we distinguish from the other stocks ‘traded pennies on the dollar,’ we’ll keep going with our original plan.”

“And what’s that?”

“We’ll fight against the government’s intrusion.”
