“We’re here on Delaware’s Public Radio Control with Businesswoman and Businessgirl. They have been fighting for what they call the most envied sector of our economy, the businesspeople. Thank you both for coming here this morning,” Susan Convent chimed.

“Thank you,” Loreen and Lisa said in unison.

“Now, is it true I shouldn’t have my job?” Susan cut right to it.

Loreen smiled and shook her head. “No, you do a fine job of reporting the news and offering information not only to Delawareans but anyone with the app around the world. We’re fighting for free radio where the government has nothing to do with censorship or denying certain programs.”

“So you want it to be privatized?” Susan asked.

“Absolutely,” Lisa added. “What we would like to see is intellectual property, which is all property, to be the reigning force behind what goes over the airwaves and internet connections.”

Susan fidgeted a bit. Then she queried, “How can there be a clean radio for children?”

“That’s simple…it’s up to the parents or guardians to safeguard them from adult content. With private radio, and all other media, there will be a chance for freedom to ring from microphones and cameras all over the land. It is the only moral way to be.”

“‘Moral?’”

“Yes,” Lisa took this suggestion. “It is ethical for individuals to express themselves without the overbearing, bureaucratic stranglehold that the Government Communications Federation currently has. So this isn’t really public radio but government radio.”

Susan paused. It was but for a moment but it was like she had been whacked in the face with a tennis racket. “When do you plan to ensure these measures get put into place?”

Loreen smiled. “We’ve got a few projects in the works, but this is one which requires the most attention.”
