“Entrepreneur Paul” Atkinson scrolled through his socials. He noticed the glut of vanity driven vixens, wannabe influencers, and those squirming through the digital atmosphere. He sighed. When he saw the many too many account holders flaunting and gyrating while waving flags of graft he felt sickened.
To say that he wanted to do something about it would serve deaf ears and blind minds. His eyes opened.
“I want my own social network,” Atkinson declared to his assistant Valya Kornakova. She was a twenty-nine-year-old model with angular cheekbones and eyes the color of slate. “I’ve not programmed in years. That’s what this money is for, now. I’ll pay anyone to build a social media site and I’ll take it from there. I want it to be a place promoting entrepreneurship over emotionalism, and business over bovine fertilizer. We’re going to incorporate right here in Delaware, of course.”
“Yes, sir.”
“Thank you, Valya. You may depart now.”
The assistant did a small courtesy and exited the office space. Atkinson laughed to himself. He thought about creating a site where transactions would be the focus. He wanted to make a site tailored specifically for businesspeople. The thought felt like a dream to be hammered into reality. He’d have a legion of engineers to tool the site and show the various online advertisers, merchants, and financial technology companies. He wanted to show his ability to perform on a higher level with this site. He didn’t want to just put up another social, he endeavored to make the thing powerful and impactful.
In his mind, he had already mapped out his essentials for delivering something of worth, of value. In the sea of sites that have already gone public, he wanted to keep it private. He didn’t want to be on the WiSE. He didn’t.
