There Is No Antimemetics Division by QNTM is an excellent piece of Sci-Fi that combines a mind-blowingly fantastic premise and cosmic-horror plot, with perfectly bland prose.

An antimeme is a self-deleting idea. An item with antimemetic properties will remove itself from your memory. And they are everywhere, you just forgot. The book follows the Organisation that tracks, contains and studies these items, creatures and ideas. You learn the different forms they can take and learn to follow the mental gymnastics needed to work out what on earth is going on after you forgot everything. And, slowly, a common thread is found between disparate catastrophes.

QNTM writes this book in a non-sequential series of interconnected stories, interspersed with redacted sections of blacked out text, bringing the reader directly into the mysterious, analog atmosphere of the story. This tactile approach is contrasted sharply with the bland, but serviceable nature of the writing itself, which does undercut the emotional climax of the book.

Overall, QNTM has crafted a story worth your time, full of truly unique ideas and new ways of conveying them and parts that genuinely kinda freaked me out, back lacking in the emotional complexity to perfectly tie it all together.
