Section 2

The night had become colder, conveying with it the remainders of the downpour. MITHILA put her espresso cup on the table and set down on the bed. Her psyche felt disrupted today, tangled and scattered. That train venture, that profound look — everything held returning to her. Did ADITYA at any point recall her?

MITHILA sank further into her viewpoints when unexpectedly, the ringtone of her telephone frightened her. An obscure number blazed on the screen. Reluctant, she addressed the call.

"Hi?"

A profound voice came from the opposite side. "MITHILA, this is ADITYA talking."

MITHILA froze briefly. Simply hearing his name made her heart shudder.

"You? How... I mean..." she battled to track down the right words.

ADITYA chuckled delicately. "I heard your name that day on the train. Then, I did somewhat looking and got your number. Please accept my apologies for annoying you."

MITHILA answered, "No, it isn't so much that... yet, after so lengthy, why now?"

ADITYA stopped briefly prior to talking once more. "I was unable to fail to remember you. I realize it sounds abnormal, yet your profound eyes and sweet words remained with me. In this way, I accumulated the fortitude to call."

MITHILA was quiet briefly. It seemed like some sort of fantasy was unfurling before her.

"How have you been?" MITHILA at long last inquired.

"I'm fine. In any case, the craving to find you had been distressing me. And you?"

"I'm great... but..."

ADITYA hindered tenderly. "I need to meet you once more. Assuming you're good with it."

MITHILA felt clashed. Was this unexpected return of ADITYA the start of another story, or was it simply an endeavor to close the part on old recollections?

After a short delay, MITHILA said, "Okay, we can meet. Where?"

ADITYA answered, "where we initially met — the train station. Will you be free tomorrow around lunchtime?"

MITHILA grinned delicately. "I'll see you tomorrow."

As she hung up the telephone, MITHILA remained before the mirror, checking herself out. She felt like tomorrow would bring a novel, new thing.
