Nora Roberts

A Nora Robert's trilogy is what will follow for this series is comprised of three novels by the titles of 'Year One', 'Of Blood and Bone' and 'The Rise of Magicks'. All three of these books are quite the page-turners in my opinion.

Book One- 'Year One'

'Year One' is the story of how the fight to use magic all started. The family MacLeod is the starting family of many issues. 'Year One' is the story of mainly just trying to survive from the many facets of good and evil, and this family is at the crux and will see each other through to what is happening. Will a new way of life be procured one way or another. In a way when the 'Doom' struck in this story it reminded me of when COVID-19 or better yet magically of the 'Rapture' could be like. This is the story that will give readers something to think about with some real issues that we all face one way or another with family and friends and somewhat all believe in 'The One' even when meeting other cousins that will meet magically in beginning their stories.

Book Two- 'Of Blood and Bone'

'Of Blood and Bone' is the story of the beginnings of building new communities and learning new skills whether mortal or magical. Fallon Swift is if she thinks correctly 'the one', but does she really want to be. 'Of Blood and Bone' is the story of how 'The One' learns the necessary skills to live. Battles will be fought large and small in learning how mortal and magic can go together. There will be searches for others to help or will they destroy enemies or them. All the characters are living with memories of before the 'Doom', but are still able to move forward to understand the who, what, why, when and where that various battles will take place and be of a giving to hope over evil. Family will confront family to start for they want to make sure of each other's strengths and weaknesses in all the communities. Fallon begins to learn what she needs to know.

Book Three- 'The Rise of Magicks'

'The Rise of Magicks' is the story of the 'War of Magicks' and Fallon has learned her skills and will now become even more important and influential in various instances. Armies will be formed and many important confrontations will be faced. Will there be new hope for all magical and non-magical in this new world? Cousins will come face to face as well as friends will come and help one way or another to live in safety and security hopefully, but will they learn and accept each other and will good prevail over evil.
