"Igi" Travels

Hello Vocalites,

After I published my impressions about the "Igi" book by the Georgian writer Jemal Karchkhadze, several people in the comments indicated that they'd be interested in reading it. I know it is very hard to find (not available on Amazon) so I've decided to try something new here on Vocal.

I have a spare copy of the book. If you are interested in reading it, I will mail it to you under one condition: You will mail it to someone else after you are done. There are several blank "note" pages in the book where you will write your Vocal name, dates you received and finished the book, and your email. Simply mail it to the next reader when you are done. You may also nominate someone as the next reader. When all the pages are filled up, the last reader will mail it back to my US address.

It will be my own little research project. I wanna see how many people will be willing to read it and from which part of the world, as well as how long it takes for it to travel and people to read it. Books are still pretty cheap to mail. This book is short (85 pages of text), made of light paper, and has a sturdy hard cover that can travel far and wide, I hope.

If you like this idea, write a comment with your email and I will get in touch with you for your mailing address. Since I am in the country of Georgia now, it will be easier for me to send the book to someone in Europe or Asia. If there are no takers, I can mail it to someone in the US when I am back there in June. I am just not sure about the mailing costs across the ocean with the US tariffs now.
