Her March Forward™ Volume 2 Continues Uplifting the Powerful Legacy and Leadership of Women Veterans
Women Who Inspire

There are women whose stories deserve to be heard far beyond the moments they served in uniform. Women whose strength, sacrifice, leadership, and resilience continue creating impact long after military service ends. Her March Forward™ Volume 2 is shining a well-deserved light on those women while creating a powerful movement centered around visibility, healing, empowerment, and legacy.
Created by Dr. Lena J. Payton-Webb, Her March Forward™ is more than a collaborative book project. It is a national platform dedicated to honoring women veterans for both their military service and the lives they continue transforming afterward. Through storytelling, leadership initiatives, conferences, publishing opportunities, awards, and community empowerment, the movement is helping women veterans reclaim their voice while reminding the world that their stories matter.
At the heart of the movement is one meaningful message:
She Served. She Builds. She Leads.
That message is deeply reflected throughout Her March Forward™ Volume 2, which brings together an extraordinary group of women veterans whose journeys represent courage, faith, perseverance, leadership, healing, entrepreneurship, advocacy, and purpose. Together, the women featured in this volume represent approximately 185 combined years of military service across the United States Army, Army Reserve, and Air Force.
These women have dedicated their lives to serving others in ways that extend far beyond military duty. Many continue making a difference through mentorship, mental health advocacy, ministry, leadership development, coaching, business ownership, and community outreach. Their stories are reminders that service does not end when the uniform comes off. It evolves into something equally meaningful.

According to Dr. Lena Payton-Webb, Her March Forward™ was created to ensure women veterans receive the recognition and visibility they have long deserved.
"Women veterans have always been leaders," says Dr. Lena. "We have always carried strength, wisdom, strategy, compassion, and resilience. Her March Forward™ was created to ensure our voices are no longer overlooked and our stories are no longer hidden."
The women featured in Her March Forward™ Volume 2 each bring a unique and inspiring story to the movement.

What makes Her March Forward™ so impactful is the way it creates space for women veterans to be fully seen. The movement acknowledges not only their accomplishments, but also their healing journeys, leadership experiences, sacrifices, and continued contributions to society. It recognizes the emotional resilience many women carry while encouraging them to step into visibility, purpose, and community.
The movement also honors the significance of Women Veterans Day celebrated annually on June 12, recognizing the historic signing of the Women's Armed Services Integration Act of 1948. Through conferences, recognition ceremonies, collaborative publishing, media visibility, and community-centered initiatives, Her March Forward™ continues creating meaningful opportunities for women veterans to connect, inspire, and build legacy together.
The upcoming Her March Forward™ Conference & Excellence Awards in Mobile is expected to bring together women veterans, entrepreneurs, authors, nonprofit leaders, military families, and supporters from across the country for a powerful experience centered around recognition, leadership, visibility, and empowerment.
Attendees can expect leadership panels, women veteran recognition awards, author showcases, networking experiences, inspirational speakers, vendor opportunities, media visibility experiences, and the launch of the Her March Forward™ Magazine. More importantly, the event will celebrate women veterans boldly embracing their stories and stepping into the recognition they deserve.
Her March Forward™ continues reminding the world that the impact of women veterans reaches far beyond military service. Their leadership continues shaping families, communities, businesses, ministries, organizations, and future generations every single day.
This movement is creating space for those stories to live on with honor, dignity, and purpose.
Because these women are not simply reflecting on where they have been.
They are continuing to march forward with strength, grace, leadership, and unwavering impact.
