Michael the Capi

In the midst of the dark and tumultuous years in the Republic of Stephenlandia, Michael's life was anything but ordinary. His father, Mr. Scout, held the esteemed position of a judge, while the migratory terrorist groups unleashed waves of fear across the cities. Young Michael found himself deeply enamored with his French teacher, and the two had planned to marry using an old Gypsy ritual, waiting for the full moon to consummate their relationship.

However, a shadow loomed over their happiness, and the teacher became ensnared in a curse – that year, Michael was destined to meet his end at the hands of these terrorists. Despite his father's pleas to attend university, the rebellious Michael joined the military. After graduating as a corporal, he took on the role of a patrol officer in the grimy streets of Ciudad Cero.

During his few free hours in the late afternoon, he found solace in a brothel, where he encountered a foreign and stunningly beautiful drug addict. Quickly, he fell in love with her, promising to divorce his current wife, who he deemed too old for him. Several weeks later, he found her in a near-fatal overdose and spotted two mobsters leaving the scene. He followed them, which led to a confrontation with the law, but the criminals managed to escape. A month later, they returned with threats of his life. This prompted his wife to learn about the affair, demanding an explanation. Michael, ever the deceiver, concocted a story that she, surprisingly, chose to believe.

With his past swept under the rug, Michael continued his life. A year later, the same mobsters were sentenced by the famed Judge Mr. Scout, serving ten years in prison. During their imprisonment, the drug addict managed to turn her life around and decided to become Michael's lover. Over the course of the next decade, they had approximately ten children together.

One ordinary afternoon, Michael's wife and his lover crossed paths and surprisingly struck up a friendship. When Michael returned from work, he found them sharing wine in the living room. In need of guidance, he turned to his father, Judge Mr. Scout, who merely chastised him for choosing the wrong profession and wife. Mr. Scout revealed that his former teacher already had fourteen children with ten different husbands before marrying Michael, even undergoing a vasectomy before their marriage to prevent more children. Michael was advised to be patient and more obedient.

In time, Michael revealed to his father his recurring dreams of his own death. Mr. Scout consoled his son and promised to pray for him to avoid such a fate. A month later, the mobsters were released and kidnapped Michael's wife and her fourteen children. A struggle ensued, ending with Michael being shot in the forehead, watching his wife and the children, who weren't his, perish. In the darkness and overwhelming fear, he felt an icy grip of death.

Several days later, Mr. Scout, accompanied by the former drug addict, visited him in the hospital, astonished that the bullet had miraculously passed through without damaging any vital tissue. When he awoke, his lover and more than ten children embraced him. Realizing that he was now free, he married the girl and reconciled with his father. The following day, he resigned from his position as a patrol officer, choosing to return to his father's house to study law.

Years later, as the full moon eclipsed an eerie orb, a hand emerged from the ground in a cemetery – it was his former teacher, coming back from the dead.

The story unfolds with the mafiosos continuing to sell drugs in Ciudad Cero, gradually rising in power and influence. Their leader, "El Capi," the most ruthless and bloodthirsty criminal ever known, emerges as a political candidate. Shockingly, he becomes successful and manages to legalize drugs, plunging the streets of the city into chaos.

In this dire situation, Michael finds himself with no choice but to suspend his law studies, return to his role as a patrol officer, and take up arms to eradicate the city's evil. El Capi gets wind of his plans and cunningly ambushes him while he's at home with his family. As Michael is almost on the brink of receiving a fatal shot, his former French teacher, now turned into a zombie, appears and takes the bullet meant for him.

In a desperate move, Michael grabs a lamp and hurls it at El Capi, managing to bring the criminal down. Upon El Capi's death from Michael's gunfire, investigations reveal that the corpse of his ex-wife had been brought to life. Mr. Scout, Michael's father, recalls the curse, and the prospect of death continues to haunt Michael. That night, they bury the two dead bodies in the garden.

The next morning, Michael assumes El Capi's identity and calls the mobster, suggesting they can continue their nefarious plans for Ciudad Cero. A group of terrorists infiltrates the city, leading to a full-blown civil war involving not only the criminals but also the city's merchants and the hardworking people. Over several months, the conflict escalates, making the situation even more dire. The communists gain strength and take control of several countries, forming a block that primarily serves their interests.

In an unexpected turn, Michael, or rather El Capi, takes control of the geopolitical situation and becomes president. His new wife and their ten-plus children partake in the presidential parade, while Mr. Scout watches, his eyes filled with tears. However, during his speech, the mobsters realize he's an impostor and attempt to assassinate him. The presidential security forces detain the mobsters, and El Capi orders them imprisoned, where they are subsequently eliminated to prevent them from speaking.

As the new presidential family moves from Mr. Scout's house to the presidential residence, they discover that his ex-wife's grave has been opened. The trail leads to the bathroom, and when they open the door, they find her in good condition – or as good as a zombie can be. She runs towards Michael, but he hastily closes the door, leaving everyone terrified. Michael sends military scientists to the house to find the zombie, but she remains elusive.

A week later, Michael receives a letter: "I'm glad you've remarried. Your new wife is lovely; we were good friends in the past. And you were my great love, so I've decided to solve the Gypsy curse." In the days that follow, international news reports reveal that multiple bombs have killed the British royal family, eliminating the global elite. Clues found in the remains suggest that an old French teacher was responsible for the act.

Eventually, the global crisis begins to improve, returning to a state of normalcy and even better than that. Ciudad Cero transforms into a model city, marked by safety and social justice. Michael decides to reveal his true identity to the world, but despite his bravery in taking control and restoring peace, he's received with suspicion and treated worse than a criminal. He is put on trial, but this time, his father is powerless as the presiding judge is part of the Illuminati and follows orders from the central bank. Michael is sentenced to life imprisonment for his alleged involvement in the assassination of the British royal family.

Upon learning of his fate, his ten children and his young and beautiful wife confront the judge. That night, the judge is mysteriously found dead with a note reading, "The mafia of the central bank and pharmaceuticals must be eliminated to free the world." Michael shivers in the cold of his prison cell, knowing that life behind bars will be long and arduous, testing his patience as his father once advised. As he looks up, he realizes that the night is darker than ever, and an unsettling premonition lingers.

As the years passed, Michael's family relentlessly tried to bring down the shadowy figures controlling the world, but their efforts were in vain. His children had organized several rebel factions and were often portrayed as terrorists by the media. One by one, they fell, until only his youngest son remained. This son, following in his father's footsteps, pursued a law degree to secure Michael's release from prison.

Years crept by, and Michael felt his will and mind gradually deteriorate, knowing that his family was relentlessly pursued by the justice system. In the midst of this despair, the prison guard led him to a brief meeting with his wife. She presented him with a Gypsy amulet, a mysterious elderly man had given it to her at the market. "Wear this around your neck when the moon is full, and you will gain supernatural strength. Then you can escape. We'll be waiting for you, my son and I, in the American Republic. There, the three of us will be free, for the fame you gained by posing as El Capi holds great value. They admire heroism and were the ones who closed their borders against the global dominance of pharmaceuticals and the central bank."

Michael, far from being skeptical after encountering a zombie and the Gypsy curse, put his faith in the amulet. A year later, the three of them celebrated political asylum, and a bright landscape of freedom shone on their youthful faces.
